hi i will been make a downhill ebike use both cyclone mid drive and Tangent Dave Motor RC mid drive kit
give be a review how well each of can work with fully mods.

for my case stock kit was not ez to use . i have made alot the parts my self.

i got alot of work done to day to get motor plates done. from i found out the plan in your head never go the way you want.. i don't know if a help a Es Gods or the devil some time's it turn out better i hope. i have a very hard time too get any metal to work with make do with what i have... not so much fun some times.

i was waiting for 30x 8 mm gold bullets want i just got now. but i seem need some more 5.5 mmgold bullets before i can start wireing it up (

i made a new cover for right side out some thing of wood i had around, i very happy how it never up for the first go .
i most like make a alloy one later. i found it ez to keep up date in the 1 page. have a look every few days i most likey have some thing new done. sill need to cut the key for motor my last i will try to do, i don;t want to srew this up.

update 2015/09/18 i been waiting for more part .. i was needing a halflink for my h415 chian.. dam. it did not fit. so i had to try drill the halflink out not ez it very hard steel. it took me about 1 hour to made it fix . into h415 chian.
i hope i don't have to do it agian

my gearing is crazy low work out by es thud .. 8 mph low gear hight is 13 mph,,, i hope the new hub can go faster.

i was lucky to find a can of this 18410 – Seal Coat®Red Urethane Coating .. i hopeing it ok for the job it say max temp 100 c. i hope not to go any near that temp. i was careful. to cover up what i did not for paint. :wink:

hi all i got broad waiting for 5.5mm bullet connectors ... and the frame is neeeding a repaint . i start too take off the black,, agian for 4 time or 5 time ,, that i own the frame.. i need to make the rear of the frame alot stonger.. or i need to find a good i need a welder i can tust . here not alot around. here. i guess it will take me a other 2 or 3 weeks to get the ebike to be running
need new bearing , the a very hard to find, and costly i need 6 of last time the best price i could find was $25 each x 6 = $150 with a hight au $ ,. and now au $ shit agian.. i hate to see the cost now.

hi i use a 10mm bit on a mill.... if i copy rus tank dude i would kill my motor. drilling it. nom drill bit you have less then 3 mm gap from pvc broad to alloy motor Case. and i know how to get the wireing stor core out... but it way to hard and not worth it. to me to try kill motor for not much agian.

has for rateing it only a guess. before max was about 800 watt for 5km climb after i guess i can use safe 1000watt to 1300 watt safe under 75 c temp/ . and peak power mean shit to me.. not really useful. for km's of long sleep climbing. @26 degs plus

good lucky to the cyclone fat bike own. trying @2100 watt out haetsink or any cooling or upgrades. my guess it kill magets fast, temp most likey over 100 deg good thing they will not have to replace sungear. just the whole motor and gearbox 8) i guess that save them money.

rus tank dude use 9 mm holes.. i may open my holes biger if need to . After Drilling yes clean motor out with alot alot alot compress air.

i sill try to work out how to water cool this motor. not ez. to do .

ahh ok you use a mill and make sure to not go lower then 3mm under .

How did you get all the fillings out of the windings ?

Do you use any fan for cooling or just natural air flow ?

pic cyclone mid drive work very well. it only 3 rides to tune up . not need to touch beside, cleaning and oil chians . O yes for all you think a heat sink save your motor.. you be shocked how hot the air is comeing out my motor. i wait for tool to test it. to show numbers

Hey mate - really keen to hear your experience of the internal gear hub with the mid drive kit. How does it handle the power? I have an aft 1680w kit and would love to try an internal hub or back but am worried the motor might wear it out too quick.

has for useing alfine 8. i need to work away of holding in place without cutting the axle. i not got to test it out so i don't know how long it last but if it 2000km to 3000km i am happy. at 6000km . i be jumping over the es moon.

cyclone mods close to all been done. i upgrade to new fan ,, all i can say wow it help alot now i can start pushing alot more power out , not need to baby it all the time , no need for a heat sink. it cooled down in less 1 min to hand wram. temp i try upgrade kelly mini for more power. this ebike not the best for long rides. eat alot power my lipo 4x 8000 ha only last full ball 15 km 1300 watt. run out of gears to pust it harder

i use the same pack on Green Machine with cyclone not full mods max range was 55km with alot my power too. and alot slower

So you use the fan and temp controller also ? where did u mount the temp controller sensor ? what temperatures does it read?

If you have that fan running most of the time you probably wont even have to worry about water getting in and rust.. as it would dry out very quickly while rideing, as long as u don't leave the whole bike out in the rain that is

Kranked E Squared Video Review AkA cyclone aft ego look like they sill they cheap ass cyclone motor . they did make a new gearbox i it's 19.1 , or do any you know if a rip off from a other brand kits ?
Just one note V10 downhill frame are great has downhill bike Not a ebike . it Way tooo costly in replace parts. you wear them out Super fast or crack frame :x

i have my frame geting rewelded . i cut up thinker 4130 crmo. plates and got rid of the old plate from rear swing amy i hope next week to ebike back to working and repriant it








once back work i get Db sound readings has ask before. witha smart phone 8)

hi all . wow my frame got reinforce so hopeful not break so soon






i have give the frame it frist coat of paint .. the coulor i don't real like . it Very good for stoping rust Not cheap , and it's all i had to use so i hopeful i able to use a cheap paint to change coulor , and Very good clear coat to hold it they

i do not want to rush this . it really need to dry well before i try press the mian tube bearing pipe in the frame it really not ez. got 6 new bears 2 more then the stock frame used to hold i hope it stop some the side move the rear swing amy around ./

i hope to test next weekend up my downhill track. any you know good software to show speed and gps . use a smart phone i don't own a go pro ,

hi i try Not to Reply about cyclone aft or headline ego kits . chats they are so many much it same info but have to reply to missleading info .. that motor will Not last ... your fixs you are cheap. it will not really fix the motor water cooled stage 5 or fan cooled it get it stage 4 . and Do the job right you will not buy other kit. So many try to saveand have been cheapskates / it dose not work out .and i replace all my motors bearings with ceramic bearing only ones are really costly are 2 main big bearing one for 20mm shaft aft cyclone kit do not do this is Too costly .. and oil seals 2 lips is mod you have do you self you can't buy them , and aft Dose not Heat Treat Processes for sun Gears. last time i talk with them. i try to get to them to make better sun gears. they did not care. and only get stage 3

and Yes the Heat Treat sun Gears make huge help i pull apart my gearbox last nite, i was shock you not much wear after 2000km both sun gear have done about kms . new sun gear it has been heat treated and rideing up the world cup downhill tracks the magnet trap did it job it new oil and mix high moller additive
upgrade all the bike parts it last very long time.
