They do that. People don't appreciate the effort that goes into recovering wastes. But it bings such a small percentage of our needs.
So true!
Take an average American, bury him 1 mile down, let him percolate, with the right bacteria, for 100 million years ...
and we'd be lucky to get .1 barrels of crude oil back!

Compare this to his 1000+ barrels consumed!

(The USA annually consumes more than 22 barrels of crude, per capita-person)

Could this equate to the 22 barrels p.a.
Though most of the boguns ive met are at about 120V, reverse polarity and draining and cold. :D
Hey that leads us into the previous post, if were all in the Matrix then creation and evolution could coexist. Just nueromancing :D

Well he actually said mixed with a form of fusion too.
I took artistic licence and chopped that part out.

Did they actually show many computers in the movies.
It was all references to the mainframes and terminals with green screens, did see Neo's early pc and all pre broadband, but yeh all those machines and sentinel thingamees might suck some juice from the chargers.

Probably run the Matrix with ubuntu on a stick computer, these days, couple of watts on the usb

Its got to be in my top 10 of movies, especially when you watch it to look for all the hidden stuff, including hidden biblical reference, oops seeing stuff again with ideas of reference :?

Fox Creek fracking operation closed indefinitely after earthquake
("Magnitude 4.8 quake rattles area, but no injuries or damage reported, energy regulator says"):

(Starts:)
A hydraulic fracturing operation near Fox Creek, Alta., has been shut down after an earthquake hit the area Tuesday.

The magnitude 4.8 quake was reported at 11:27 a.m., says Alberta Energy Regulator, which ordered the shutdown of the Repsol Oil & Gas site 35 kilometres north of Fox Creek.

Carrie Rosa, spokeswoman for the regulator, says "the company has ceased operations … and they will not be allowed to resume operations until we have approved their plans."

Yeah, well, I'm still thinking about the lines of force from he power coming from all that fusion and maybe some reversal in the current, suddenly you get a return on investment in the energy they've been drawing off you. Maybe even a BIG return. . . .

Hello Oklahoma!

7 earthquakes struck Oklahoma in 28 hours for a disturbing reason:
http://www.businessinsider.com/oklahoma-earthquakes-why-2017-8

Starts:
In less than 28 hours, Oklahoma has been pummeled by multiple earthquakes.

Includes:
All of the earthquakes were between magnitude 2 and magnitude 5, and no significant damage was reported. The shaking, however, is part of a troubling recent phenomenon. The disposal of wastewater from hydraulic fracturing, the process also known as fracking, appears to have spiked the likelihood of earthquakes in Oklahoma, potentially raising the state to the same earthquake threat level as California, according to a recent USGS forecast.

Until recently, earthquakes in Oklahoma were few and far between. In 2010, the state experienced just 41 tremors. By comparison, each year Southern California alone has about 10,000 earthquakes.

But seismic activity "has surged" in Oklahoma in recent years, reporter Joe Wertz of StateImpact Oklahoma told NPR on Thursday. Oklahoma has weathered hundreds of significant quakes in each of the past few years, along with parts of several other Midwestern states.

[Sigh]
