High speed uphill run on my x5 filmed with my sunglasses

I like it!
Good power...
Like the idea of a stealthy camera...
What is that loud BANG sound that occurs a couple times?

Never heard it while riding, so I can only assume it's the way the wind hit the microphone.

Johannesburg South Africa. When I was in LA a couple of years back it did remind me of home, except we have more trees!

This is the camera I used: http://www.dealextreme.com/p/usb-rechargeable-hd-720p-5-0mp-pin-hole-spy-av-camera-disguised-as-sunglasses-tf-slot-54635

The X5 looks remarkably fast (top speed) for a 5305, I have a 5303 and 5304, never seen a 5305 in action. Great work.

I was just thinking how much it looks like Australia (apart from the dude with a sign saying his wife had been kidnapped by American Ninjas). I always thought the same thing about California and Texas actually (have travelled extensively in both). California is a lot like parts of NSW in Australia, with the mountains and the eucalyptus trees. And a lot of Texas is like western NSW in Australia.

I have never been to South Africa, so it was interesting to see. I have often thought that Texans remind me of Aussies, and South Africans remind me of Kiwis. I always hate to admit it about the Kiwis, but pretty much every Kiwi or South African that I am friends with are remarkably talented and self-starting. Just look at the Kiwi guys on this board, huge over-representation of pioneering talent and ingenuity, whereas us Aussies, Poms, and Texans on here are just the loud mouth (often drunkard) raconteurs.......

I am probably going to get my citizenship stripped for the kind things I just said about the Kiwis.... Better have a bet each way:

An Australian ventriloquist visiting New Zealand walks into a small town and sees a local sitting on his porch patting his dog. He figures he'll have a little fun.

Ventriloquist: "G'day Mate! Good looking dog, mate. Mind if I speak to him?"

New Zealander: "The dog doesn't talk, you stupid Aussie."

Ventriloquist: "Hey dog, how's it going old mate?"

Dog: "Doin' alright."

New Zealander: (extreme look of shock)

Ventriloquist: "Is this Kiwi your owner?", pointing at New Zealander

Dog: "Yep"

Ventriloquist: "How does he treat you?"

Dog: "Real good. He walks me twice a day, feeds me great food, and takes me to the lake once a week to play."

New Zealander: (look of disbelief)

Ventriloquist: "Mind if I talk to your horse?"

New Zealander: "Uh, the horse doesn't talk either...I think."

Ventriloquist: "Hey horse, how's it going?"

Horse: "Cool."

New Zealander: (extreme look of shock)

Ventriloquist: "Is this your owner?" (pointing at New Zealander)

Horse: "Yep"

Ventriloquist: "How's he treat you?"

Horse: "Pretty good, thanks for asking. He rides me regularly, brushes me down often, and keeps me in the barn to protect me from the elements."

New Zealander: (total look of amazement)

Ventriloquist: "Mind if I talk to your sheep?"

New Zealander: "The sheep's a liar.

thanks! gotta get one for candid recordings of my kids. I love watching them in their most natural moments and I always try to capture those moments but they start hamming it up when they know they're being recorded..
