Do any of you have experience with HPC Bikes? See https://hpcbikes.com/.
How have your experiences been?
For example, are the bikes well-built and well-designed?
What is warranty support like?

Why do people believe these bikes to be overpriced?
(FYI: I'd like to avoid doing a conversion if possible.)

Good product. They were hot-rodding long before many others.

That being said, they are pricey for what you get, and years ago their ads had very exaggerated range and power claims. I havent seen their recent website or ads.

A person can build them selves one hell of a nice diy pieced together ebike, then most of the ebikes being sold to people.
A very nice bicycle from back 20 yrs ago is mostly undesirable now for most folk who ride a bicycle, but for us ebikers, those bicycles are the great bikes to convert, whether it be cro-mo rigid, or some xc/dh. They can be found for cheap, if you are patient and not lazy.

Their line up seems to have moved from almost all hub motors to mid drives. All the YouTube videos I recall seeing before were with their hub motors, which were basically hot rodded kit bikes. I'll need to see what they are up to now.
