Saw this mentioned in Paijda's thread. It's 3.2V3AH in the 21700 format. That means I need a 16S-3P for a 48 cell 48V9AH battery, About the same size as a 13S-4P 52 cell 48V20Ah battery. That's 45% of the capacity for a lower fire risk and probably 5X the life.

A small 32 cell battery would only be 6AH though, Still, that's 300 WH,

I haven't sized the A123 cells, Is this a big advancement in energy density?

What's the price of these Energy Density(Wh/L):386 cells?

For 300 miles so far, I have been testing Gotian 32135 LFP cells (22S2P) in my 230 lb moped. Per the specs it has Energy Density(Wh/L):376. It's been running great so far. I get 40 to 50 miles per charge. Top speed 40 MPH. Very good acceleration. I can keep up with cars in city traffic now (no way with my old SLA battery- now deceased). Last week I did a 20 mile round trip ride where there was a 1/2 mile long 35 MPH steep stretch of road and I went up it at 38 MPH with no problem.

Gotion 32135 15Ah 3.2V LFP Lithium-ion cell IFR32135-15Ah.

Gotion 32135. So a 16S will be under 2" thick, 6 inches wide, and 22 inches long? Or 12" long and 3" high? And 15AH?
