Hi
A while ago I got a cree torch with the intention of using it on my bikes however I wanted a light that I could run off my e-bike pack and also run stand alone so I plumped up the cash and got my first magicshine....these things are bright really bright!!
it has 3 modes you just click through on the button on the back, high, medium and low power i know a few have been using them on here but figured it wouldn't hurt to post a few pictures to see what you get for your money.
I got these for 75 pounds delivered which I thought was pretty good for such a powerful light, it is supposed to be 900 lumen's however I have read they are more like 700 still its amazingly bright.
I have some of those cheap dc-dc converters coming from EBay so I can power them on my bike for longer rides, I will post a ride video soon to see how they work in the dark compared to my little led light
I think I will get another lamp head and the Y splitter cable as well.
The UK magicshine site had no stock of any of the lights, I have read they are very popular and sell out quick, the nights are drawing in here in he UK and I like to see where I am going and to be seen 8)
If you don't ride a normal bike and only use an e-bike then you can just get the DC-DC converter for 4 dollars and then its only 37 pounds for the lamp on its own off your bike battery, the DC-DC converter I go runs up to 72V inputs 12 +6V 30W output so good enough for 2 of these lamps.
Here are a few pictures.
