Motor testers for HIGO connector brush-less motor.

I have a kettles k800. I was in an accident and the throttle broke. After the accident the bike worked fine and I able to ride home with peddle assist. I bought a replacement throttle and waited for it to arrive. Then next time I powered the bike on the controller was spitting out a hall effect sensor error.

That bike is a dual hub motor model. Normally I would fix the stuff myself but I was in the middle of home renovations so I took it to a local repair shop. They did some tests and told me that it was the rear motor and controller.

So I got new ones. They installed them and I still have the same error code.

I'm done my renos and was thinking about dealing with this myself.

I see these $20 e-bike brushless motor testers on Amazon but none of them use the higo connectors that my bike does. for example:

I can't seem to find a motor checker that uses the higo connectors. Making an adapter for these things will involve me buying cables just to cut them apart. Is that my only option? Any advice?

Depends on whether your motor is the small Z91 Higo. You can find a female Z91 with bullets and a 2x3 molex on ebay.

I made my own, buying a motor extension cable. I already had the bullets and molex connector., Might be cheaper to buy the above if you don't have extra molex plugs laying around,

If your motor is a high power unit with the octagonal Z916 plug or the even bigger ones, you may have to build your own.

Is that my only option?

If you have a multi-meter and the ability to use it, I'd try the recommendations in this thread.
