Hi,

I am trying to find a new controller for my ebike but it seems hard to find something that would work right out of the box.

Spec:
Motor: Some old hub 8fun CST 48V500W 6-pin connector
Old controller: LSW772-96F

I have attached some pictures of the old controller and also the 6-pin connector on the motor.

I am searching for a sine wave controller that needs the least modification to work with my motor.

What options do I have?

Thank you!

Are you looking for just a basic sinewave controller, or an FOC controller (which is also sinewave but gets tuned to the motor being used with it, which can make the system more efficient, quieter, etc).

I'd guess the former, since the latter will not work right out of the box and requires programming it for your motor (good ones like the Phaserunner will have better autotuning routines, but there's always still some setup to do).

If the former, then there are other Lishui controllers that are sinewave--the LS opensource firmware thread has some posts that discuss some of the different versions of those controllers, even if you're using the built-in firmware and not reprogramming it with the OSFW. I don't seem to be able to find a link to the orignal thread, just this one Lishui "Open Source Firmware" project / KingMeter 5S
