I've been trying to order a couple of things (bike alarm) off AliExpress but it keeps failing.
I've chosen things that you can buy 1 off, tried 2 browsers, tried changing the order, but keep getting told 'Sorry, nothing is available to order now.' but if I go back to the basket the stuff is still there.
I've looked through their help but it's a bit superficial.
Is there something obvious I'm missing? Minimum order?- but I can't find anything that says there is one. I don't even get to a payment page.

That's a bit strange...

Are you registered?

I find it strange because if I leave items in a cart or abandon and order just before 'submit', they will remind me that I have those items to purchase. Sometimes it gets quite annoying.

Communicate with the seller.

Definitely registered and signed in. I even created a second account but still no joy.The only plus side seems to be that I don't get any nag messages!

Nope, remote control motorbike type. ebay don't have one like it even with different name/remotes etc.

I tried contacting the 3 of the suppliers about the problems. One hasn't bothered answering-maybe no English speakers - so good to know. Another answered very quickly, and gave a link to an ebay item at higher price, or I could use paypal to their email address. The third took a few days to reply but had sorted the problem so I thought they must be worth a try, and I've ordered from them. Now there's the wait for 'processing time' (I gather aliexpress sit on the funds for (supposedly) a day once paid, then there's the weeks/months waiting for China Post airmail. I've been 'lucky' with this delivery method as they usually arrive in 2-3 weeks but I've heard of people waiting over 2 months- but I'm not sure whether that is actually shipment time or slow despatch by suppliers.
