Please help me figure out my next step

I really thought it was gonna be a snap to buy a second battery to change out on my e-bike to give me the little bit more range I need out of it to get me to work. But, after several tries and returns I’m finally stuck with a battery I can’t return.

The e-bike in question is the $300 “E-bike” brand ebike that Walmart is selling on it’s site.

Anyways, now that I’m stuck with this battery I’m thinking of mounting it on the bike someway and either buying adapters to make to work through cable swapping or I’ve seen adapters out there where two batteries can be connected for a even draw on both at the same time.

The new battery has a tx60H-F connector, labeled nice and clean. The Walmart special, the only cable I see runs off the hub motor and into the battery base through the frame, but the wire splits with what I’ve identified as a 9 pin Juliet connection?

Someone out there with more knowledge about this able to help? Is there a dual battery option with these fittings (9 pin Juliet male to TX60H-F) or better yet an adapter I can set up for even draw?

The hub motor cable is for the output of the controller to the hub..NOT battery power. Follow thar cable to the opposite end away from the hub till you find a box that it comes out of...called the controller....It can be hidden in a frame...or battery mount ext....That box has the power cable either in it...or coming out of it. But since I told you this much...I HAVE TO TELL YOU.....that you need to know some things before hooking up an ebike battery...
#1 They have to be the same voltage group. IE. 36v 48v 52v 60v 72v.
#2. It's safest to use a battery combiner that has protection against fires, shorts, surges.
3. Bikes have a Controller rating...that will cause problems if the battery does not put out enuff current for the controller.

Research battery combiner...they will help explain
 
Both batteries are 36v, that was all the information I could pull off the specs sheet on Walmart’s site. Even in hand nothing is marked other than 36v, so I’m good that far. Because I could not confirm the model number I was just buying and paying (unsuccessfully).

Would it be a good bet that the controller is in the battery base?
 
What is the amp ratings of the controller and battery? The battery amp rating should exceed the controller max. amp rating by 20-30%. And let's hope the battery vendor's rating is honest.

Your third photo shows what looks like possibly a common yellow MT60 connector with black and red wires. Is that what is coming out of the new battery? What is on the other side (obscured by your hand)?

Depending, you may need to splice in the matching connector into your existing system.

Not a big fan of so-called "battery combiners." There are ways to safely, reliably, and efficiently parallel-connect two batteries but we need more in depth information about your batteries to see if it is possible.
