QSMOTOR,0.5-12kW Electric Hub Motor & Mid Drive Motor Manufacture China

Hello @QSMOTOR, Do you have any test results for the QS 205 3000W V3 50H 3T that could be used to prove the motor's characteristics in an official manner?

The style of report that I found in this thread so far is only useful for reference but is often missing clear indications of the model being tested or any indication that this information is officially released by QS Motors.

The attached results for example have no use outside an informative purpose.

Hi @QSMOTOR
I am wanting to buy a 5000w continuous 17" wheel hub motor for a electric motorcycle upgrade. I am wanting to acheive a max speed of 60mph. I will be using a 60v 45ah battery and a fardriver FD72450 controller.
Can you recommend a motor please, the price, and shipped into the UK please.
Thank you
glyndwr.

I ordered a Hairpin motor kit from Alan and everything is fine. Problem is it comes with a 08B sprocket for the jackshaft and it has been impossible for me to find sprocket for 08B chains here in the U.S. Does anyone know of a vendor that makes 08B sprockets for gokarts? I am specifically looking for one for the axle which as a 6x bolt patters in 5 1/4" with a 4 9/16 bore.

A quick google for "08B chain sprocket USA" finds these, if it's helpful:
I don't know anything else about them, though.

Yes I found them earlier. However, $300 minimum order . I only need 1.

Also, what does the counter shaft look like?
I may be easier to find a counter shaft sprocket with a more common chain size.

Ah, then this was very incomplete information:

it has been impossible for me to find sprocket for 08B chains here in the U.S.

as you did find those sprockets here in the U.S., but simply didn't want to spend that much money or bother to mention either of those things.

I think I'll wait to spend any more of my time to try to help you find a source until you have made a complete list of all of the places you have found and checked and a complete list of all of your exact requirements, budget, etc., so that I don't waste any of your time or mine with things you already know and/or have decided not to use. ;)

So one can either change the jackshaft sprocket from the 08B the motor comes with to a standard chain size like 41/420 or change the axle sprocket to an 08B from the standard gokart chain/sprocket sizes which are 25/35 or even 40/41. I chose to change the rear sprocket to 08B but it will need machining.
This is what I bought in the 45 tooth version. It will require lathe work in the way of boring out and drilling a 6 bolt pattern in 5 1/4" diameter but I don't believe there is a better option at least in the U.S.

Hey all.
Qs8000w?
Fardriver nd721000B.

Any information about these would be great.

It doesn't look like @QSMOTOR is active anymore but I was looking for what motors I could use on my golf cart with a BAC8000 Controller. I need a motor with 10 splines comparable to the ASI Oak Motor.

48V - 76V capable.
Hello, for your golf cart, would you pls check if the QS180 8000W rated mid drive motor fit? Here pls find the specs. of QS180 motor and its drawing for your checking. Further info. pls contact me through email or whatsapp.

Hello. How can I teach the Sabvoton controller to see the temperature sensor in the QS Transit V3 205 50H engine?
What should I specify in the settings?
I think you should be able to find it in the Sabvoton / MQCON PC software or phone app (or SVMC HCI) under the TEMP or FUNC tab.

Depending on the controller model some SVMC/MQCON variants have enable/disable only others allow threshold values.
The enable/disable variants should assume the KTY type and map the ADC reading to temp internally. All Sabvoton controllers typically support the KTY83 family.

To double check, you should be able to use a multi-meter to measure resistance between the hall GND (black) and motor temp. (white) wires - it should be able 1000 Ω at RT.

You can also use the Sabvoton app to monitor ambient temperature and confirm, according to the KTY datasheet readings should be about:
0 °C = 820 Ω
25 °C = 1000 Ω
60 °C = 1268 Ω
100 °C = 1633 Ω

Hope that helps!

You can get 3 inch wide 29er tires that will probably put you over 30 inches and will also be a super smooth ride. I wonder if they are doing any pavement treads in that size.

Unfortunately that won't work because it's 6 Spline instead of 10 Spline. I would need to fab some type of conversion plate or swap the output shaft.

Thanks though!

Hello Offroader,

Thank you so much for your support and sharing your view.
In my opinion, the axle diameter of water cooled 205 hub motor might be much biggner than normal one.
As the cooling liquid is desinged to come out from axle so far. But all depends now for 205 motor.

Best Regards
All, I am working with QS to try and get some 205 motors laced into 17x1.6 rims. I started a new thread about that specifically so I don't clutter their sale thread.

https://endless-sphere.com/forums/viewtopic.php?f=3&t=74353

Who is ordering a 1.85 rim? Don't you think that is kind of too heavy? What size tire do you expecting to run on that?

1.85 rims are like 4 or 5 lbs.

i have QS 138 90H V3 with gearbox 4000w. is it possible to remove the shaft? i'd like to have something bigger than stock 17mm one
regards

Hi, could you please provide me with the configuration file for a Votol EM200-2SP with a QS138 H90 v1? I would be very grateful.

Hello, I'm trying to decide between the QS138-100 (new motor) and the QS165-60. Which one is more powerful? For the 138, the recommended current is 350/1200. For the 165, I couldn't find that information. Do you have a performance simulation map for these motors?

Hi @QSMOTOR, I'm trying to configure a QS273 13-inch 8000W V2 motor on a Sevcon Gen4 controller.

Do you have any test result sheets and graphs that would allow me to obtain data to characterize this motor on the controller?

Thanks

Hi @QSMOTOR, I'm looking for a motor for a sailboat conversion. Ideal specs would be about 10-12kW@1000rpm@50V(48V nom Battery) and equipped for liquid cooling. Do you have a suggestion for that use case? Internal gearbox would be fine for me, as I assume that torque would require quite a large diameter motor.
