Hi! New user here. I've been browsing here for years and I finally decided to create a user. Fantastic place to get help! Many skilled people on this platform.
I bought a scooter 1 year ago that didnt work for about 200 euros. Odometer said 20 km lol. Turned out to have a bad ESC, so I made this my first VESC project. It has been a blast.

I rebuilt the battery that was originally Li-Mn 48v 480Wh. Now it's 60v 1400Wh Li-Ion with 18650's.

Now I finally got it to run great and smoothly with the VESC after hours and hours of learning and exploring. It's so much faster and stronger with the 60v pack.
Now to the question.
The goal has always been to keep it looking as original as possible. I also limited the speed to 45 km/h and power to 2kW(was originally 1kW
) to keep it kind of street legal.
The final piece to this puzzle is to find a good solution to replacing the original display that no longer works. I want to fit the new display inside the original casing.
The original display is 50x50mm.
I have some very basic arduino coding skills, but I'm sure I will manage coding a display with thee data from the VESC.
I've been browsing hours on amazon and aliexpress and I cant find a display that fits it perfectly. I will have to go for a smaller display, or just add two smaller displays so it kind of fills it.
Anyone here who has any tips? Why isnt there that many larger displays to choose from? Most are like 1-1.5".
Thanks in advance!
