I don't know. Only the compass seems to have problem with the magnet. I'll report here if I have any problem

So any problems? I've been trying to think of a good way to mount the phone and I really like that idea.

Dual throttle arrangement for 2WD;


I added the BMS Battery kit's thumb throttle up close to the half twist, retaining the half twist for the rear and using the thumb for the frt.. The motion using both is very natural because it's the same motion;


The button on the thumb throttle is wired to the E-brake and I try to make a point to deactivate it when not in use. The switch to the right is the cruise control, which is on the rear motor system.
All in all, I'm very happy with this arrangement, everything is right there and it works well with my intended use of this Ebike. And that is, running the rear motor only most of the time, using the frt. only for starting up a hill, sprinting across a busy intersection and various types of climbing. It also works well on straight line cruising. With the C.C. set WOT on the rear motor and pedaling in the low 20's mph range, I can add a little bit of frt. motor power to counter grades, headwinds, etc.

Mine is in transition; it’s about to get completely reorganized in the next month in preparation for the next road trip. However – I’ve been running with this setup (or one nearly like it between the two ebikes P0 & P1) since last Fall; L to R with me behind the wheel, the list is:

• Bar-end mirror
• Grip
• Control: 3-way & Cruise (modified Hi-Low beam switch & horn button) *
• Front Brake with custom integrated microswitch eBrake
• Front Derailleur lever, 3-position
• Bike People Bell <ding-ding>
• Left Hi-Power Cree UniqueFire Flashlight, modified
• Centerline: 6FET Controller in front, DC-DC converter on the right-side, and CA mounted behind facing the rider
• Right Hi-Power Cree UniqueFire Flashlight, modified
• A gap wide enough for another control *
• Rear Derailleur lever, 9-position
• Rear Brake
• Throttle

Notes:
This month I will rewire the ebike to support 2WD and Signal/Brake indicators. The lighting control that I’ve modified for 3-Way/Cruise will shift to the gap on the right side, whilst the new motorcycle-grade L/R-Horn control in the vacated left spot. Mirrors are a challenge: I don’t care much for the one I have now (not shown in any image); however I really want both L/R mirrors, especially when I start pulling a trailer.

I gave up on the magnets directly on the handlebar as there was not enough fixation point and my phone felt from the handlebar... and was crashed by a car just after...

I think it needs a minimum of 4 of the magnets (on right area) I was using to make sure it's fixed correctly.


Now I use heavy duty velcro and it's working fairly well

I admit it, if there's one thing I obsess about when I do an e-bike it's the handlebars. I like to have everything just in the right place and like to always have certain functions. Off all the bikes I've ever done I feel like I've reached my personal handlebar nirvana with this set up.

From left to right:

Mirrycle mirror - an absolute requirement on recumbents. The Mirrycle is on all my bikes and it does it's job very well.

Reversed 7 speed shifter- Because of the throttle on the right side, moving the twist throttle to the left is pretty much required. Moving to the left is not awkward at all, just have to deal with the numbers being upside down, but I rarely shift anyway.

Headlamp on/off switch - The headlamp is powered from a dc/dc converter. Having a rocker switch makes turning the light on/off much easier than pushing the button on the back of the light, especially when wearing winter gloves.

CycleAnalyst CA-DPS V2.25 - Right where it needs to be. Easy to be seen and solidly mounted on a cut off mtb bar end extension.

DX "900lm" flashlight - hardwired into the switch and the dc-dc converter. Works great.

Drink holder - Holds my water bottle or coffee tumbler securely and it's right where I need it for taking a quick sip at stoplights.

Another cutoff mtb handle extension that so far I haven't used, but I've been too lazy to take it off. Besides, I might find a use for it some day.

Master power on/off switch - This is what turns the bike on and off.

Watch - The CA doesn't have a clock built into it, and I like to know what time it is when I ride. Old Timex was picked out of a free box at a yard sale, I like the aeronautical styling of it.

Magura twist throttle - no explanation needed.
