Spot weld thermocouple to 18650 cell

WOW super interesting. I been working with temperature methods now for my new testing.
Been having lot's of fun with the AWithZ UF20B I got from you. I'm impressed by its fit/ finish & performance. It's pretty heavy for its size. Is there a transformer inside?

When will 6500 or 7,000 Mah high capacity tabless cells become available?

They use capacitors inside. Very large ones. I have 6500 mah cells arriving in about 2 weeks or less. Amprius and few samples of RH60. Also 4000mah 18650.

Thermocouple welding machines range from a low of a few hundred to a high of a few thousand dollars.
I am wondering how good (or bad) my thermocouple welds are using a battery spot welder. I've only checked accuracy in boiling water and it was spot on at 212F. Just checked it in ice water and it read 32.2F.

Anyone try it with their spot welder?
