Well, nutspecial, I guess I owe you an apology. That last batch of youtube videos has convinced me of your righteousness, and that fine scientific diatribe so eloquently disseminated by sansander has removed any other doubts I may have had. This opens a whole new world for me and I thank you.

Now that we are buds, I wonder what is your thinking on perpetual motion machines and the efforts by government and the petroleum industry to keep them suppressed.

I was getting ready to reply to thud's very appropriate post and see yours jim.
How kind, and surprising.

In answer, I'd probably start with independant research into anchient history- for anything from the past that main stream appears to gloss over or obviously speculate on, there will be likely more to consider. Research up through coral castle and Tesla, the world wars, histories of secret societies, and end on the most modern sciences such as quantum theory and psy.

For balance, also consider a study into capitalism, communism, socialism, fascism, and the major religions.

How can you expect more of an answer than that? Am I the controlling interest of oil conglomerate(s), or do I have an 'overunity' device? No. Common sense would tell me that if in existence, all significant enough technology and power would be hidden from the world, and likely not by gulf, shell, exxon, or any one government.
So, I don't mean to dissuade others from looking into what interests them, but a proposal to broaden the scope.

Just curious, were you able to easily debunk or discount the multiple videos of on/off conrails?
you say "contrails" do you mean Chemtrails? the folks posting the alarmist garbage have no clue about how the dynamic environment that is the earths atmosphere works & how incredibly diverse it can be.
No, I mean contrails. Although it appears obvious to some there are also 'persistent contrails'. Which could indicate nucleation of water droplets around heavy metal and oxide nano particulates. The rest is large generalization and opinion. How does that stack to the same idea about the gov, specifically that it's by no means always right, knows best, or remains transparent?

Really, the simple fact that contrails exist, are created by airplanes in a dynamic, fluid environment & eventually dissipate in varying patterns, subject to the changing (often rapidly) atmospheric conditions...or on a rare calm day can hang for hours is absolutely acceptable to me. Given we have examples of it originating with the 1st planes capable of the speeds & altitude to reach the required conditions.
They have been there far longer than the sudden appearance of the "chemtrail conspiracy" or global warming.

Have you ever flown? (in a airplane?) & noticed how bumpy it can get near mountains? or over the great plains, or near cities?
the atmosphere isn't a blanket of fixed density or temperature or relative humidity......there is wind blowing in different directions at different altitudes over the same airspace. bubbles of warm humid air rising through the soup....soaring aficionado's rely on them.

Not in a single example of any of your linked info did anyone show the math as to what % of sunlight needs to be blocked for any measured amount of time...or calculate the effectiveness of any "chemtrail" as it is/was deployed or observed thru any scientific method.
Geoengineering is a valid thing, and there's plently of media and gov approved stats to consider if you're interested. The interview with the public head of this wasn't enough for you, so what about directly from nasa?

Wow, about 20 replies and not-a-one addressed the simple questions at top of page 8 that would require just an ounce of independant research, yet they are so simple and the answers are all mainstream. Yes I'm talking about nasa and climatologists. I feel some are so quick to dismiss and/or condemn.

Which is how we can tell the difference between a true believer and a troll.

A true believer would attack those questions head on believing that they could win their point and make us all see the truth by their answers. Their answers might be wrong, but would follow their own logic unwaveringly. True believing conspiracy theorists all share a couple common traits. Distrust in the establishment, and an unwavering Messianic belief in a "truth." As such, it's their duty and moral responsibility to make you see the truth.

A troll will see the questions as a trap and an end to their fun, so they will change the subject, create a straw-man question to answer, or create a rebuttal in the form of a question directed at you with such an outlandish premise that you become distracted from your original point while addressing their points.

Nah, we don't need labels. We act out in frustration, and plenty of times we don't realize we missed something, are being deficient, or are crossing a line.

Especially on fringe subjects, it's unrealistic to expect people to be as objectively interested in some things as yourself.

This is a good point on high objectivity. Questioning can be like a pandora box, and the theorist would highly welcome refinement and often prefer being wrong to being right, so proper discussion can be a win-win

Just imagine this.. the biggest geo-engineering effort is millions of cars shooting cocktails of hazardous chemicals into the atmosphere. And then millions of homes using massive amounts of energy from fossil fuel sources which emit more chemicals from centralized sources.

China is stuck in doing this. Coal plants emit dimming gasses. Stop emitting coal and the layer of chemical fog stops blocking out the sun. Now you have increased radiation from the sun and hotter temperatures where people live. Now your water supplies have a higher evaporation rate, but some billion people need water to drink, so..

We consume water that has cocktails of tons of different chemicals. It would take a muti billion dollar facility per city to filter out everything and return the water to true purity...

Wanna be free from pollution? live in the lowest population density area or undeveloped area you can find.
No amount of political protest or bumper stickers or petitions will stop things in the industrialized world.

Pinch every penny.. and build up a huge reserve of cash and drop out.

Where i live, it is so polluted that when it rains, your car gets dirtier because the water catches the particulates as it comes down from the sky. The pollution that gets trapped in ice that melts off the ground gets into the water supply.

So yeah, the air, the water, and the soil is all contaminated with petroleum byproducts, manufacturing byproducts, medical waste contaminants, heavy metals from the mining operations in the valley, etc.

We have an autism rate that is much higher than the average, and one has to wonder..

Now go on, tell the USA's #1 or #2 economy to take a pay cut for the sake of their own health and join up with the environmentalists.. and find out that most people just don't care. Health is only a concern when you have developed a problem; not something to be proactive about :lol:

You just have to get away from people with that mentality. These are the same people running governments, operating the plants, buying the toxic products, idling their car in an inversion, etc. You can't just point your finger at the producers of the pollution or the government alone; companies have no incentive to create pollution without consumers of their products, eh?

But I don't want to drop out. I want to be on the job. if I sell my house and buy one close to the job, supposedly I get to keep my property tax even though prices have risen. If I could afford houses close to this job I'm imagining I'll find. I suppose I'll go on freelancing, even if I work more than I have been I'll still be going all over and can't move closer to EVERYWHERE. What was the most I ever drove in one year?
