Trailmate Fun Cycle conversion??

These are amazingly fun little trikes that steer by leaning. I rode one 15 years ago. Im surprised they never become more popular but wonder now if some of these old ideas shouldn't be considered now for updates. This could be a lot of fun with a front hub motor or add some gearing and a mid drive??? Someone please try this so I don't have to. The nimble and natural steering is far better than any other trike I ever rode. It just needs a little power assist.

Even a mid drive like a BBS02/HD, or CYC could work on that.

Looks like a great ab workout, you could do sets of figure 8's

If you were to convert one, use a motor/controller/throttle that you could put onto something else like a bicycle.

I bet you'd lose interest in that trike in short time.

i put a Grin 9C on a delta trike. awful ride. and the wrong motor for me on a trike. it’s nearly a 20lb wheel. very bad steering dynamics. nothing like a 9C front drive on 2 wheels.
