I think they must have a u-joint underneath the head tube between the two sprockets, one sprocket fixed to the frame and one fixed to the fork.

This might be a source for left hand drive rear hubs?

The only thing i like about all of this is that japan have hills with signs that tell you the incline.

I would not mind having some small instrumentation to tell me the level of my bike.
Maybe my phone can accurately do this?

Novel Concept, but it sounds like hooey to me. With a single power source (the rider) I think the only reason for 2wd is traction. The extra driveline losses and weight will just slow the bike down.

Also, on the Rokun 2wd motorcycle, because the wheels turn at different speeds through corners, didn't they have do to something to decouple the front and rear drive systems, too keep it from tossing the rider when under power in turns? I wonder if anyone has pedaled this through a steep corner yet.

And was that an aluminum frame they spread the rear triangle on?

i actually have two pallets of these bikes sitting in my warehouse at the moment. i work for a party rental co. and each year we are the official vendor for the interbike outdoor demo that takes place in boulder city nevada.The outdoor demo is actually a bicycle trade show.anyways, a vendor that is renting canopys from me also utilized my services to transport there bikes to the outdoor demo. one of the cartons has a large hole in it and from what i can see the bikes are of low quality workmanship,the tires are cheap, and the spokes look to be of crappy quality,the packing list shows that they produce them in 29' ,26' roadbikes and even beach cruiser versions.once the are delivered i will be able to examine them up close and i will post my findings
