I am trying to install a front mech on my TSDZ2, but I need help choosing components. I've tried 3 mechs already, so I'm a tad confused.

I had this working before, but at some point I lost the mech. I want to use a direct mount/braze on front mech, and an adapter (my bike is only designed for a band on).

The mech needs to be bottom pull, like a road bike. 3x is probably better than 2x, because it gives me the most coverage. The tube is 32mm. I already have the two chainrings installed. I currently have a 3x Shimano Sora front mech, braze on, with a band to braze-on adapter. Doesn't sit out far enough.

Can someone point me the right direction? Thank you!

Sorry for the delayed reply.

I got it working. I used a clamp-on to direct mount adapter from Problem Solvers. The mech I used is a dual pull, direct mount, for triple chainrings. Since I am only using it on a double chainring, the high limit screw was too short. I replaced this screw with a longer one.

I'm working on upgrading it to triple chainring, but that is another minefield in parts compatibility. Tongsheng's spider is only designed for a double chainring.
