I have loaded the open source firmware version 0.6.4, onto my TSDZ2, using the 850c screen. All instructions have been followed. Everything seemed to go ok. Flashing the motor controller was an aggravation, as it didn't seem to like my USB link, but eventually took.
The screen lights up, and shows the assist level, speed etc, but I have no access to the configuration menus. I've tried tapping the control keys in every configuration I can think of, with no result. The only thing that can be adjusted is the assist level, and that is in reverse, pressing - to go up and + to go down.
I tried loading the latest v0.6.5 and the screen would light up on the opening "wait" screen, but got no further.
So I tried loading an older one, same thing.
Back on the 0.6.4 the motor works, but no configuration, so I have no idea what the settings are!
Anyone with any ideas?
