Hi guys, I'm trying to remove the 25 km/h speed cap on the ADO Air 30 Ultra and would appreciate any advice.
Bike hardware:
• Motor: Bafang H730 GVT (3-speed automatic hub motor)
• Controller: Bafang CR S20R.250.FC
• Display: ADO LCD model B04N-C
As far as I know, this is a CAN bus system.
I’ve checked the standard display settings but haven’t yet found or tested any hidden/engineering menu.
Main questions:
1. Can the 25 km/h limit be lifted on this CAN setup?
2. Does it require flashing firmware or using a specific CAN tool?
3. Is there a known engineering mode on the B04N-C display that might expose speed limit options?
4. What’s the most effective route — cable/software method or controller-level flashing?
5. If you’ve done this (or similar) — what worked?
Happy to post photos of the hardware or connector layout if it helps. Thanks in advance for any info or tips.
