What was morph999's intent the last year?

With the back problem, I have had more time with the laptop than I need; so I took some time to review morph's old posts. He was quite active before I came to the board, and so this was a learning experience to me. I saw that he was quite enthused about his eBike builds, sometimes asking for some help wrenching on them. He asked a lot of tech questions, and seemed to try to optimize his builds. He passed through the ranks, moving up from Lead and timid motors to a 5304 I think... Quite active in 2009 time frame.

So here is a poll to try to figure out what has been going on...

I'll pass, i just tried to get him thinking straight but he is kinda hung up. it is hard to change and he doesn't have much in the way of personal examples to see how to do it. kinda sad, but at least he has a place to sleep and eat. too many who really need help don't have that, or even a prospect of a job to help them survive. to me he was just a self obsessed middle class child. missed out on the chance to do anything like work with a dad or friend to help him make the transition to adulthood and self reliance. i won't lose sleep over it like i do for so many others i know personally.

Endless Sphere has a tendency to veer towards the hyperbolic at times. Morph was/is funny but some of the eulogies here are quite over the top.

David Thorne of http://www.27bslash6.com is truly hilarious and his spider painting letter is a touch a genius.

Morph could be just as funny but he needs to write more material and refine it better. Sporadic posting is not helping.

He is just one of the many dysfunctional, unskilled, texting "young people" in the US with no job and no immediate prospects. M0rphy has little grasp of geography in a corrupted worldwide economy. To Morph, outsourcing and trade deficits- merely send him into a trance - they are just meaningless words in a minimum wage world encompassing just several fast food restaurants within his realm.

Morph is just drifting aimlessly with sore shoulders from jacking off to Internet jailbait/granny Pr0n and not switching hands often enough. Using his good arm to reach out for sheckles from his momma.

He tore his hamstring, not from carrying account records from giant corporations, not from practicing deadly martial arts-not even from"jazzercizing" .....

We may be looking at a new leader for the OWS movement. God knows- they need one...one with skillz that only M0rph has.

We know he has met another ES member here and thus is "real" that member confirmed he helped Morpheous with some issue (i forget what exactly) with his e-bike, he confirmed he was bought over by his mother. And
can't be positive but thinks his first name begins with a 'J' I think its James but thats a guess, he seems like a James doesn't he? :lol:

in front of shit brown coloured recliner rocker (he posted pic of this) he also told
us he has an elliptical trainer and tried shadow boxing and stretching.

From this picture^^^ from this we can also we can conclude either, he owns no vacumn cleaner or has
one and doesn't use it.

can't recall the exact figure but according to mensa their own polling pegs the vast majority of their membership as slackers & underachievers.
i've come across about a dozen or so geniuses in my lifetime & that would fit with my estimation as well.
out of the whole lot all save one of them (my former business partner) ever accomplished much of anything or what you would consider live up to their potential.

and yes quite a few of them do in fact live with their mom sister whatever usually drifting from one family member then onto the next until they get tired of supporting him & give him the boot.
in one case my partner hired a kid (mid 20's) as a favour to a friend of a friend to help get his boy outta the house & stand on his own.
immediately its obvious this guy is from another planet kind of brilliant & yeah later on when i asked his IQ is over 150.
while his mom didn't drive him around, since he came from a quite wealthy family his parents simply gave him outright the old family sedan, he shows up in a vintage '68 mercedes so he could drive himself to work!

so am i giving him too much credit? well, maybe a little but morph does seem to follow in the typical genius pattern of behaviour.
i could buy that while he may not be exactly a genius, there's no way he could have made it this long riding a bike without getting killed by a bus by now if he didn't have some wits about him.
you know what it's like riding thru traffic, the nerve & the grit that it takes to claim your space.

I would much rather see someone that simply needs help, get such a generous offer, rather than some damn deadbeat like Morph. You could really change someones life and even cause them to give back to someone else in the future. Or at least make someones life much easier, that is trying to better themselves or achieve a difficult goal. It could be a life changing event for all parties.

I am thinking of how LiveforPhysics had to struggle to get his degree and I wish someone like you could have made him this offer when he was trying to survive and yet remain in college!

I know from experience that trading work for rent usually don't work out. Got the idea of adopting a 30 year old toilet trained adult after the wonderful experience my wife and I had adopting a cat from the SPCA. The cat was named Stratford. He came with a cardboard cat carrying box. We kept him for one day then gave him to a tenant who had a problem with bats.
