I am using a Astro 3220 and 48V lipo system. It is crazy fast and powerful. I am getting 40MPH on flats in 8th gear. Fun but not practical. To violent!

Will it be alot less powerful if I turn the amps down below 100? I am at 100 now still powerful.

How much power and speed would I loose if I went to 36V.

What is the gearing 9.3.1. Is that 9to 1 ?

Thanks

100 amps times 48 volts equals 4800 watts...which means you're runnin' about 6.4HP.

75 amps times 48 volts equals 3600 watts...which would mean about 4.8HP.

50 amps would make it 3.2HP...still pretty powerful, imo. later :)

Rediculous

Ya I looked down was pulling 4200 watts!!!! These things are crazy! Need to work on programming I have yet to master the throttleizer program!

What do you 36v instead of 48v would be like?

Is that 36V would equal 30mph?

Yes, thats correct.

OK, you are using a throttleizer. Thats good. You can set the ramp up to what ever you want. Also you have the burst throttle feature so you can set say a 50A limit for general cruising and a burst throttle setting at 100A for wharp speed.

What if I use a 3210 motor instead or the 3220 motor??

YPedalMaN has a 3210 he could greatly benifit from a 3220 maybe you two could organise a 'swap' of motors?
