What would be the reason for the dual rear suspension on this "Triple Suspension Foldable E-bike?"

The only reasonable thing I can think of is that there is a small passenger seat cushion there, so maybe it is to isolate the passenger from the movement of the rear suspension arm, or vice-versa?

I think it would have to be hard mounted, otherwise it would have too many degrees of freedom, and could move without compressing a shock.
What an unnecessarily complicated contraption! Looks like they wanted to eek out another inch or so of travel without raising the passenger seat accordingly.

My guess is that the red shock is stiff & the little front shock does most of the work when solo for a nicer ride. With a passenger directly over the red shock, it does the work. Doesn't look like it'd have much travel though.

Im confused, i echo the above 'Where is the Pivot?' . As is it seems compressing either shock absorber will put the other under tension??? Do they even work in that manner??

wouldn't the small shock need rotating 180 degrees to anchor to the upper cross beam to be effective, - armchair engineering qualifications only this end..

The small shock does the suspension work. The red “shocks” are part of the ejection seat, used when you get to a hill that the tiny motor can’t climb.

Probably the rear shock is a marketing gizmo and helps get the weight of the bike in the 80+ pound range. As above it seems the shock movement of either is somewhat negated by its partner, but maybe they feel good when the bike isn't in motion.

According to the video below the front air shock is rigid at both ends/ fake, the red coil shocks are the only rear suspension. If 1 rear shock is good, 3 must be better?

3 shocks!? I’m still trying to wrap my head around why you’d want a 100lb foldable bike. Folding it doesn’t make it weight less.
