My old Moped needs wheel bearings. Fat chance on replacements, plus the original bearings are the bicycle type, threaded rod, nut for play and nuts for mounting.
The plan is to use cartridge bearings 12 mm i.d. 32 mm o.d. width is not an issue. These bearings come in many types, angler contact, radial, deep groove etc.
I am lost. Which is the right choose? Yeah I know I am a sponge for info and tips, that's why i am here!

Sealed ball brg.s is all you need. Maybe seals on the outside if there is room.
Take the wheels to a bearing supply store and show 'em. I\ve found the guys behind the counter to be very helpful.

Ball bearings, all bicycles, mopeds, motorcycles use roller brg.s.

Not to just be contrary, but I dunno about that. Every bicycle wheel bearing (loose or cartridge) I've ever dealt with so far has been ball bearing, though admittedly these are generally all stuff at least 10 years old or more. The 80s Suzuki dirtbike/motorcycle wheels I have (at least the front) are ball bearing, too. Dunno aobut hte old Honda scooter or the early 70s Suzuki; I never checked those.

I expect they'd work just as well with rollers, but these definitely are ball.

The ones the OP described would almost certainly be ball as well, from the parts list/type.

Regarding the OP question, I'm afraid I don't know the best ones to use.

AW, you're right! Brain fade. I meant ball bearings!
Thanks
The OP must be thoughly confused by now!
The second part of my post still applies, he should take it a bearing supply house, although I see lot's of moped wheel brg. kits on the net.

Not confused. I am thinking double row angle contact bearings, a trip to the bearing supplier is in order for sure.

Thanks all for the help !

I am thinking double row angle contact bearings,

No, no no, those are tapered roller bearings, not Right! They are for steering stems. Too much drag and no space for the out-side seal.
Now is no time to reinvent the wheel...literally.
Don't fret about side loads, they are a non-factor.
Simple ball bearings!!!!

The ones i am considering are sealed cartridge ball bearings, not roller type.

This is a classic example of why not to take advice from someone on the web.
more brain fade ? !
Name me one motorcycle, bicycle or moped that uses something other than ball bearings for wheel bearings.

We straightened you out on ball brgs a few posts back.
..this time I was refering to you comment about side loads on wheel bearings.
Angular contact ball brgs are the go for bike /moped wheel brgs.
