How about one of those "trigger" throttles, that is sort of like a thumb throttle but its pivot is not circumferential around the bars (like a grip throttle) but rather on a vertical line?

You might be able to mount it so it's pivot range is better suited for your bars and hand position.

OK, I'm going to give one a try. It's a direction that uses a stronger thumb muscle, sort of like my vintage XTR shifters. Plus, no need to adjust my grip all the time. :thumb: Thanks for the suggestion.
