What percent of women experience this 'psychological damage' of which you speak? Almost none. Five years after abortions 99% of women are still relieved that they had the termination. Multiple sources for this.

The other is how disproportionate the numbers are wrt race. With tens of millions of abortions since Roe v Wade being heavily skewed to blacks, not only has it significantly affected race %'s, but it's also had a big impact on behavior and policies. Had those 19 million black babies been born, surely we would have been forced to solve many inner city problems decades ago. For me abortion is simply a moral issue with life of course beginning at conception. Black lives matter just as all lives do, but innocent babies, whether born yet or not, matter to me a lot more than a handful of criminals who refuse to comply with police instructions.

Yeah Chalo could have been fun and he would not have used made up numbers to support arguments, so it might have been an actual debate of differences in opinion. Regarding Trump I never liked him and can agree that he hasn't acted presidential, however, he did get some good things done, though much of the economic gains concentrated wealth even further. That's something that has gone way too far, so much so that I consider the overwhelming majority of the very wealthy to be downright immoral and should willingly give at least half of it back in ways to benefit and help the other 99% that they robbed. Absolutely do not give it to the government.

Regarding abortion (and of course there should be exceptions that permit it) the idea that life doesn't begin at conception is ludicrous, and giving that life different names at different stages in an attempt to make it more palatable is just a cover up of its immorality. We need better solutions for the social benefits that result from abortion to avoid the black genocide.

Duh, of course my observations are being made PER CAPITA. Per capita, the U.S. is doing terribly compared to Europe. But more to the point, the U.S. is in possession of medical expertise and infrastructure that should have made Covid a non-event here. But the main reason Covid is kicking our asses is because 33% of Americans don't believe the virus is real and that idiotic assertion began with Trump!

It isn't unlike the fact that we have lost thousands and thousands of vibrant young men (and women) on the killing fields of the Middle East when we are in possession of military resources that could turn the planet into ... ... talk about waste of potential ...

As for the 50K. It's a low estimate of the tens of thousands of black men (and women) that have been murdered since the official end of Chattel Slavery. Those lynched during Jim Crow and more recently those (unarmed) killed during routine police interactions.
