no :D it is 5 times brighter them one I have certified, but cost the same..

:O And can you controll it like a certified one? Like turn on fog-light, normal light without blinding others etc etc?

I ride with this light in forest and parks, where I dont blind other drivers.

I have tried myself on this to figure out the highest real speed I could get with 4kW motor.

P(Motor)=((A/2 x CW x D x v³)+(Cr x m x g x v)) x 1,11


P(Motor) = 4kW = 4000W = 4000
A = Stirnfläche des Objekts = face of the object = around 0,6m²
CW = Luftwiederstandswert = Air resistance = around 0,7
D = Dichte der Luft = Density of air = at 400 meters over the sea at 25 degree Celcius = 1,196 kg/m³
V = Geschwindigkeit = Speed = That´s what we want to calculate
CR = Rollwiederstandwert = Roll resistance = (downhill wheel with bad conditions) = 41 Watts
m = Masse = Weight of Rider and Bike together = (65kg + 44 kg bike) = around 110 kg.
g = Erdanziehung = gravity = 9,81
Verlustfaktor = Dissipation Factor = 1,11 at efficiency 89%.

RED COLORE = not real, surce on example motorcycle, google search motorcycle.
BlUE COLORE = personal value or just real data.
GREEN COLORE = differnt, not consistently data.

-When calculating it with your datas, you have to change the green marked data, and parts of the blue marked data.



4kW = ((0,6/2 x 0,7 x 1,196 x v³)+(41 x 110 x 9,81 x v)) x 1,11
4kW = (0,25116v³)+(44243,1v)) x 1,11
4kW = (0,25116v x 0,25116v x 0,25116v + 44243,1v) x 1,11
4kW = 4510,015938Vv x 1,11___________I /4510,015938
4000 / 4510,015938 = v x 1.11
0,8869148268 = v x 1,11_______________I / 1,11
0,7990223656 = v

=> 79,9 KM/H


Im just not shure if this means 79,9 km/h.

Do you have any stickers/decals/vinyl with the Vector logos? I really want to add some to break up the giant white covers. At a minimum do you have a high quality image to send and maybe I can find a shop to cut some up?

What do you mean with "old"? Do you have a new one? :mrgreen:
I was also thinking about some sidecovers with the Vectorlogo on it, just like on their webside. Would look a bit better with some filled sidescovers... :roll:

Can you already buy the sidecovers like this??? :roll: :)

You can get graphic artists to make you anything you like for the sidevcovers, or do it yourself. Then stop at a print shop and have them print it on adhesive foil. It is like putting on a big sticker except you need to use a heat gun and a squeegee thingy.

Or do it professional at a specialist, they can also make any print you'd like on the foil wrap.

Took the Vector for a hillclimb today with some mates on Quad bikes

the 19" moto and Mxus were awesome with the 24" front wheel

Artur what do you think about foot pegs for a passenger? I would love to ride with my girlfriend around town with feeling her safe on the bike... :)
Maybe the holder could go straight down from the motoseat just like on a motorcycle..

Easy way to add footpegs. Just use 2 plates on the dropout compressed by 2 bolts each on the swingarm.

I installed folding on my bike, here's the view folded:

I need to do some test and carry passenger, but it seems to hold 70kg no problems.
 
Yes the pegs on the dropout was also my First idea. But you don't have a stabile ride anymore when driving fast on a road with many bumps and holes in it. No motorcycle that I have ever seen has the foot pegs on an as moving area as the dropout. If the bike wouldn't have a rear suspension it would be no problem. So in my opinion the foot pegs have to be mounted somewhere on the bike where the passenger has a stabile ride.

Back in the days and then some it was custom to anchor passenger foot pegs onto the swing arm. And yes the swing arm moved up and down in bumps but it was really not a problem for the passenger. I am certain it would work for the rider as well. And for those of you who worries about 5-0 you could have foldable pegs as close mounted to crank arms as possible. Flip em down when feeling naughty or offroad.
 
out of curiosity...is everybody's ride a single speed? Anyone utilizing a full 3 or 7 speed cassette/freewheel? If so, post pics of your setup. I'm using a 7 speed freewheel for correct chain alignment but only using one speed.

can't wait to get my kickstand...
