E-scooter battery and controller to an eBike front hub motor

I dismantled my eScooter and connected it to a 20in front hub motor ebike wheel..
Ive gone through the 36 hall and pahse combinations to find 3 work..
But the 3 that all work needs the ebike wheel to be spun in the opposite direction for the throttle to work in the correct riding direction.
The controller writes 36v @250 which is what the wheel is also.

Any help and any ideas what to check or buy to make this work?
Im using the throttle, e-brakes, screen display, battery and controller from the scooter

You don't have any links, images, or part descriptions, but a search on your motor name finds this
which is almost certainly a geared hubmotor.

If when using the "non-working" combinations it sounds like the motor is spinning but the wheel doesn't move, then it's probably installed backwards in the fork.
 
I was trying to get the ebike wheel to work the same as the scooter so when you are riding the bike you can use the throttle from the scooter for a little extra push.

The wheel spins right with the throttle only after i spin the wheel left first.
And if i change it around on the forks. I have to spin the wheel right and then the throttle works and spins the wheel left.

It could be because of the kickstart which is programmed on the scooter plus the geared hub motor.

Theres just the white cable which i dont have anywhere to connect to on the controller.

Would i need a new controller and display panel? For this to work or would i need a new direct drive wheel?

If the controller requires a foot kickstart before it will operate the motor with the throttle, then you can either:
--lock the clutch on the geared hub (there's a few threads about this sort of thing on various motors) or replace with a no-clutch geared hub (like GMAC, etc)
--replace the motor with a direct drive DD instead of geared
--replace the controller wiht one that doens't require foot kickstart, and has all the features you want in it (you'll also probably have to replace the display at the same time, buying both as a kit, if you want a display).

To know without testing what the "white cable" is for, you'd have to check the motor documentation. The most common things other than 5 wires for hall sensor plus 3 for phases are temperature sensor or speed sensor (some put both signals on the same wire, which requires a controller capable of decoding this to use the info).

Switch the green and blue phase wires round and should go other direction
