52V 26ah battery stopped working

I know it's alive.
Why do I see just 7 groups of 16 cells each?
I see the black wires. Fine this one pole of each mesurment - the minus but where are the pluses- the 2nd pole of each mesurment?
I attached pics of the 2 sides of the battery.
Can somebody plz mark the points if 1 mesurment, 2nd mesurment etc'?
The cells are grouped differently in both side of the battery.

Each group you are seeing is actually two groups that are connected. If you put one meter probe on one side of a group and one probe on the opposite side of the same cell, you will be measuring one group. You will need to stand the pack up on edge to access both sides at the same time.

If you follow the small white wires, each one goes to a group. Another way to measure may be on the back side of the BMS board. Maybe try taking a picture of the back side. There should be a row of little resistors, one for each group. You can measure from one resistor to the next to get the readings. While you're there, closely inspect the little resistors for signs of heat damage.

Here are the bms pics

Well. I mesurred between the black wire and the each of the BMS white wires and found:
4.15V
8.29
12.44
16.59
That's all, all the rest showed 1V

Follow instructions. Write down.
Total pack voltage and report back.
Then write down all cell groups of 8 there voltage.
It should look just like this for you.
1. 4.15v.
2. 4.14v
3. 4.15v
4. 4.15v
5. 0.00v
6. 0.00v

14. 0.00v
Ok ok thats the status of the state of charge of your battery you have given us. You have not given us the battery voltage taken at the red wire and the black wire this is not your choice. There are rules you must find and follow to diagnose your battery. It can go ABC or one two three. Your battery is put together like logos. Have you gotten the masking tape yet ? 28 pieces of tape. 1-14 black 1-14 red. Now work it out on the battery. The bms board is to ez to short. Very bad. Start with the battery. Make a treasure map.

There are just 3 black wires and 3 red wires connected to the battery. I don't see 14 blacks and 14 reds.

Thats 28 pieces of tape 14 red 14 black with numbers 1 through 14 on them and you must apply these numbers to places on the pack and work it out and figure it out where does number one go ? that would be on the black wire and I'll give you a number 14 Positive that's on the red wires coming out now in between you must map it out. Number 1 pos is next. Then peace of tape for neg 2. Black. Now you find # 2 pos.and put tape with # 2 in red. Yes do the whole pack. This will be your only way to learn . Do it on the pack. Then check cell voltage on pack and report back. No way out.
Also on paper draw a map of what you are doing as you are doing it.

How do I find #2 positive. You are telling to put the tapes but not how to know where to put them. There are 112 cells here. How do I know what is #2,3 or 4 positive or negative?

Follow the snake.
8 are as one.
# 1 pos has to be connected or joined next to neg 2 cell group of 8

By the way we all know your cell average. Please don't print it as this is a learning experience that must be written on paper to get it.

From each side each group has 16 cells connected but not the same one. In orher words each site has different colkection of snake. Which snake are you referring to?

There's 14 groups of 8. Nothing more.
Have you gotten the tape out yet and put number one negative in black on the pack and number 14 in red positive on the pack yet.

Don't worry about that. If you put the meter backward, your reading will be negative but the number will be the same. Or just swap the probes.

You can measure by probing the resistors on the BMS. Measure across adjacent pairs. You can see the traces go to the big connector. Sorry I can't give you a pic from my phone.

My question was how do I know that I mesure between 2 pols and not between 2 pols if the same polarity.
In addition, following the BMS wires and mesuring them (what i already did ) does not give the same thing ?

Fetcher, for instance this side of the pack has groups of 16 cells. According to what I can divide them to groups of 8 cells?

the buss can be both neg and pos where a group of 8 means a group of 8. Could be 7 does not matter. can we see a pic of the other side next to the last pic or both sides.

Half the cells in each block will be pointing the opposite direction.
I would still recommend measuring on the BMS since you already have access to it.

I posted before what I nesured on the BMS

That's good now check the voltage on the battery of each group as 0- 4.2 volts for 14 cell groups. But on the battery. Pleaee read https://endless-sphere.com/forums/viewtopic.php?f=14&t=26621#p384355

I am at the exact point where I was before. I can't identify the groups. Look at the pics. They grouped differently in each side. So what is considered to be s Group?
