6 punctures in 16 months, help!

History of inner tube:
Not that old, about 10 months, bought with Schwalbe. 1 patch. But, it is the cheapest one I can found (in shopping center), Fischer brand.

Not think so. I have plastic tire levers.
But that white line, you see how straight is, it is all around the tire from inside. That I puncture with levers, the hole will be in one or few places, and line not will be full around and precession (like somebody draw it).

More weirder is that I've been driving for a week and I'm adding air without a problem. In midnight I hit the tire with my leg to check, it was on pressure. After one day of bike resting, I see completely flat tire. I tried to add air after, but can't - air coming out too fast. So, it seems on bike resting something was happened, like a tire blow.

I hope that someone had this problem to tell me more about

That tape looks super thin. Personally, I always use a thick, soft cotton one ever since a hard plastic one popped one of my tubes once:

For tubes, I usually use the thickest I can find any toss them out if they leak rather than patch:

For the self sealing ones like that I will pump them up once when they go flat and often they've fixed themselves, though. Anything that doesn't come with sealant gets FlatOut pumped in from the start

How do you find that flatout compares to slime?

FlatOut works way better. I think it has suspended little bits of tire in it. Slime more often the tire is completely deflated before it manages to seal and needs a pump. FlatOut I rarely even notice damage. It's just a bother to remove valve seals and put in and I've exploded tubes by pumping them up too much after. So I just buy Slime tubes for convenience even though it's better to make your own using FlatOut.

A wider rim strip would be a good idea. One that can't easily move laterally.

On other locations on the rim my strip seems to be a good width?

So we don't know the reason why it happened.

I was mean to buy today BTWIN tape, but not found it then I bought Rockrider tape, is that good? Looks thicker..
(Maybe BTWIN and Rockrider are same brands, don't know. On this link show two brands on same article: LINK ).

I hoped that will not remove rear wheel for next 12 months, but past only one week

The worst thing is that I must remove rear wheel, AGAIN! That is a very long process. Because I have a complicated caliper mount which also serves me like torque arm and disc inside the caliper makes it more difficult. I have some small screws and I added more nuts for spacers, and need them adjust and tighten from booth side with keys. A very tricky and long process.


EDIT: I was put new tape on the rim. It seems that I got double wall rim at seevice. I hope that will not have "stupid" punctures in future anymore.

I will not again use a slick road tires. The roads and obstacles where I going are not for that tires.

Schwalbe tyres go in all flavours. Check their catalogue and choose tyre that fit your needs with the best protection and buy it.

The tape is too wide. It overlaps the rim's bead seats. The bead seats help to center the tire with the rim, and is sized to closely match the tire's inside bead diameter. You only need to cover the spoke holes, nothing else.

Blue tape is in the center, but picture from single looks that tape is little to the side.

OMG Sorry.. To late answer. I already bought and installed 20mm wide tape I hope that will be hold to the next removing wheel, when can I buy like 15mm or side cut this.

Btw, some corrections in tire pressure.
It seems that my portable pressure guage show -0.4 to -0.5 bars lower than my two manually pressure gusges!
That means, when I was filled air to 4.20 bars, I was actually drove
on 4.60/4.70 bars in real, which is very high (5bar is max).

Now I drive at 3.9/4.0 bars in real.

The tape is too wide. It overlaps the rim's bead seats. The bead seats help to center the tire with the rim, and is sized to closely match the tire's inside bead diameter. You only need to cover the spoke holes, nothing else.

Well if you size the rim strip that way, then it can shift over as the tire is installed and expose sharp edges of spoke holes. It's more failsafe and almost always fits fine if you use a (thin) rim strip that goes from wall to wall of the rim.

Tubeless tape is useful in this regard because even two layers of it are very thin and smooth, and present no real issues with tire fit.
