Hi
I have a Bad Bike folding e-bike, a 2016 model, with a 250W rear Bafang hub motor, a threaded freewheel, and a rear dropout spacing of approximately 175–180 mm.
I'm planning to upgrade the motor to a 750W Bafang G060 with a threaded freewheel.
My question is only about mechanical compatibility. I'm not concerned about the electronics (controller, sensors, display, etc.) at this point. I just want to know whether the new motor will fit my frame 100%.
Specifically, I'm wondering whether the 750W motor has a differently shaped motor housing, any protrusions, or any other physical differences that could interfere with the installation.
Has anyone here upgraded a Bad Bike with this motor and can share their first-hand experience? I'd really appreciate hearing from someone who has done this exact upgrade.
