Bikeon, "cassette drive" torque sensing motor

I was curious, too so I just had a look at their web page, and the drive still shows out of stock. They have a few other interesting products, to include a chain-based power meter.

We will get back to the conversion kit later. Right now, we are working hard to deliver the power meter to our Kickstarter backers as soon as possible. That device, whether in the same or a different form, will also be part of the conversion kit, serving as a torque sensor, power meter, and data hub.
I would also like to build a Version 2.0. With all the knowledge and experience we have gained, it could be a very different device in many ways, including its price point. However, that is a larger project that would require additional funding and at least one more engineer.
We will get there.

I'm interested in knowing more about it, as i'm currently in the market for a high density drive.
The 4lbs 1000w lightest.bike mid drive turns out to not be the ideal motor, sadly due to reasons that are easily correctible in the design, but not by the user.
