Hello all...I have one last hang-up before I purchase a high quality lifepo4 48v 20ah battery.

It says (BMS set for 1200W) in the listing next to it's rated amperage listing of 30A, any trouble with using this on a 1000 watt hub?

Not a problem. First, the power to your hub is set by your controller, either as a controller current limit or through your hand on the throttle. The current limit on the BMS is to protect the battery, not the motor. Second, you can think of "1000 W" as a continuous rating for the motor - it should be able to sustain 2-3x this power for 10-20 s, so an extra 20% isn't a big concern unless you're at low speed in hot weather for several minutes.

Should i avoid it.? They claim its good for 1600 to 2000 cycles.now I'm wondering about the duty fees that I might get surprised with what can I expect to pay?
