Buy another cheap ACTbest EB for parts or by BATT/motor upgrade for one I have

It's a valid strategy and most of us have collected a bunch of parts over the years. That said, you could buy a used bike on Craigslist for less money that has much better bicycle components to use for spares. In my opinion, the biggest problem with inexpensive ebikes is the fire risk from the cheap batteries. And if you don't own a home and live in an apartment building, you are putting everyone else in that building at risk.
I''ll charge and keep the batteries outside in a metal trash can.

The bikes have a 1 year warranty and you can order an extended like I did but if one goes down good Idea to just be able to keep going while you straighten it out.
