Thought it interesting I was like, "She's a damn psycho", said with conviction and vigor, and then suddenly my energy levels came back as I laughed it off. lol

All those homicidal pictures, that should've tipped me off, huh.

I think she suspects she got played. Not the slightest, a pretty recent change of plans.

So, was that some kind of breakup. It seems weird to think, but what does the average girl during a breakup.

She takes your shit.

And what did she do right after reading the message? Went to visit my website.

Do I have a competitor on the horizon? lol. Not really concerned.

She looks so happy now. Unlike before. lol

I guess she didn't take that as a breakup, lol.

Ok, going to revise the post from page 222 for a 768, pasted below, to get a bill of materials for it.

---------

Going to do some quick estimates on a house cost. Assuming 672 sqft.

24x28

Floor beams...

Length wise; 1x 12foot 4x6s and 2x 8 foot 4x6 per line. In 24foot width, there are 4 lines.
Width wise; 2x 12foot 4x6s per end. There are two ends.

8x 8foot 4x6
8x 12foot 4x6

--------------------

Floor joists.

With 16 inch spacing, there's (28/1.33+1) 22 8foot 2x6 joists per section. There are 3 sections.

66x 8ft 2x6

------------

blocking.

There are 20 blocks per section. (Totals upto 28feet) There are 3 sections.

84 feet of 2x6. Implies 11x 8ft 2x6.

------------

subfloor

23/32" interlocking osb.

There are (28x24)/32sqftper4x8 = 21x 23/32" interlocking osb 4x8s.
--------------

Exterior wall studs.

Each 8 foot section gets 5 studs, plus 1 bottom plate and 2 top plates. Implies each 8 feet gets 8 of them. (Just approximation)

So, 28x2+24x2 = 104 feet implies 104 studs.

Throw in 12 more studs and 2x 8ft. 4x6s for window and door framing.

116 studs
2x 8ft 4x6

---------------

exterior wall sheathing.

104 feet needs upto (104/4) = 26x 7/16" 4x8 osb.

----------------

roof osb, basically the same area as floor except about 1.2x more. so 1.2*24*28 = 806 sqft

(806/32) = 25x 7/16" 4x8 osb.

-----------------

(28/2) = 14x 24ft trusses at $100 each.

$1400 for trusses.
------------------
drywall.

Assuming double the exterior wall drywall, for all the interior wall drywall.

104 feet/4 = 26x 4x8 drywall sheets.

So, total of 52x 4x8 sheets.

Ceiling drywall. (24x28)/32 = 21x more sheets.

Total of 73x drywall sheets.
---------------------
interior wall studs

assume as many as exterior wall.

104 studs.
And 2x more 8 ft 4x6s.

--------------
electrical and plumbing.

???

--------------

insulation

???
---------------

siding

104 lineal feet * 8 ft high = 832sqft.

For gables, another 2.5ft*24 = 60sqft each gable, 120 more sqft.

Total of 952 sqft.

$1/sqft = $952.

----------------

Then fixed cost of $6000 for kitchen cabinets and drawers, appliances, bathroom, septic, driveway, water connect fee. Probably should up that to $7000.

Kitchen = $1000
bathroom = $1000
septic = $1500
driveway = $400
water connect fee = $2500

$6500

totals.

studs = 220x * 2.25 = $495
8 ft. 2x6 = 66x * 5.98 = $394.68
8 ft 4x6 = 12x * 13.67 = $160
12ft4x6 = 8x = 21.27*8 = $170.16

21x 23/32 interlocking osb = 21*18.98 = $455.52
51x 7/16" osb (roof, exterior wall, and 6 more for gable) = 51*7.79 = $397.29

73 4x8 drywall sheets. 73x10 = $730

siding = $952
flooring = 672sqft*$1sq/ft = $672
electrical = $150
plumbing = $200
insulation = $800
foundation = $500
shingles and roof underlayment = $500
windows = $700
doors = $500 (exterior front, exterior back, and 4 internal doors)
screws, nails,etc = $300
trim = $100
electrical box and wiring upto house = $300
trusses = $1400
hurricane ties = $100
floor joist hangers and nails = $120
internal ventilation fan = $40
roof ventilation = $100
ceiling ridges = $100
lighting = $300
Can't forget roof ladders, rain guards and flashing and this and that. $400

Current total =
495+395+160+170+456+397+730+952+672+150+200+800+500+500+700+500+300+100+300+1400+100+120+40+100+100+300+400

= 11037

Plus $7000 fixed.

$18037 total.

Taxed at 8.25%, 18037*(1.0825) = 19525.

So, $19,525 predicted total.

What did the formula predict?

7000+17.5*(24*28) = $18,760

7000+19*24*28 = $19,768

Think the new formula should be 7000+19*sqft

I think it's funny my "inner voice" was telling me I was going to be marrying this girl, lol. Well, that seems strange, but I guess time will tell.

---------------------

Watching a youtube video. Linked-in, instagram, youtube, facebook ads. That's what this "30k/month" professional marketing expert does. Keeping notes ready when I start expansion.

Okay, so went acquired and delivered all the 7/16 osb, and purchased but not yet delivered (Take it out of the van) the floor osb.

Tomorrow morning begins the studs.

Then the next mornings, will be whatever remaining. This is and that kind of crap (Windows, doors, etc.), lots of it looking at the bill of materials. I think my windows WILL NOT be 3x5 like they are in this house, but 2x4. That seems like a more reasonable window, size wise, for a 8' house, and should definitely be more cost effective.

I'm keeping all the "construction receipts" collected, for accurate cost reporting. Looks like I overcalculated the floor osb cost, but undercalculated the 7/16 osb. (Wasn't getting the 69 minimum for the discount. And making up the difference wasn't profitable.)

Interestingly, google tells me 2x2 is standard. Well, think 2x4 would look good n the front, then I guess 2x2 for the sides. But looking at home depot, and the popularity of each size, looks like 2x3 is "standard". And, I think consistency between all the sides might be important, so I guess 2x3.

While at walmart (Was there to pick up tarps for the construction material piles), they had 50% off their christmas goods, so I went christmas shopping for the new house. Spent about $130 on it, 45 of it on a new tree. The size numerically "looked good", which I later DEFINITELY CONFIRMED from seeing an example. That should be pretty much my christmas stuff. For a color theme, I decided to go with red and gold, with a little bit of white. Think it should look classy.

This is UNLIKE my parents, who had no sense of color theming, lol. All the colors were a go! lol. Like a rainbow, lol. (OR A CIRCUS, lol)

The front lights are a mixture of blue and white. Like the twinkling ones and the icicles.

Christmas was notably more expensive than halloween, due to the lower discount AND ALSO the fact there's lots of indoor holiday paraphenalia, unlike halloween.

------------

btw, it's OK mentioning abducting a girl due to a girl BECAUSE... lol... it's the way it's meant to be. Knock out all the competing cavemen and steal their women, lol. Stockholm syndrome is specific to women for a reason, and it's not just a coincidence. Girls are best taken.

The only apprehension I have with amanda, is do we click? I have no idea. It would almost seem like NOT.

But, she clearly seemed to value our (presumed) relation. So, eh.

Presumably saw some peers at walmart standing in line in the woodlands. They started talking about "John and his house", I almost think seeing my purchases prompted their discussion in that direction, lol (I'd guess they be apartment dwellers).

So, I'm the personality equivalent to this "john" guy, eh. lol

(Really doubt that, doubt too many peers are building their own house, lol.)

Most people think they need a team to build houses.

Not if you know what you're doing!

On that same walmart trip, someone stole my basket. I was worrying they took the tarp inside, too, because that was the only 3 left in that particular size which I needed! But, I gave up, continued looking around at the christmas offerings... and... yep, found my tarp on some boxes. I sure as hell didn't put it there, someone stole my basket like suspected, frockers, lol.

With the anxiety I was feeling and the dizzy episode yesterday, I almost thought I was going crazy, lol.

Got the last "snowy" wreath they had, was missing its identifying tags, so couldn't ring up a price. So he just said, "$10 sound good?", and I'm like "yeah, sure.". lol

John might be doing his own work on his house. Think of the envy. I remember the 20 year olds weren't jealous yet, around 23 they were.

So the weather there is good. I'm in the Hill country right now, windy, rainy. Of course they're happy for the rain.

It's raining right now, a little gusts here and there at times, mostly not too windy. Started at around 11 a.m., just like predicted. I got the first 2 sets of osb offloaded just prior to the rains.

So, austin/san-antonio, I'd presume. That's curious, sure, don't mention an answer to the most common question people would have about you being there, lol. Relatives, I'd guess.

Rain is a pretty common thing here in East texas, so probably not quite as happy as austin, lol.

As seen in the chart below, average annual rainfall in San Antonio is 30.38", but averages mean little here. Forty inches of rain may fall in one year, but the next year there may be less than 20".

Haha. Here, 50 inches of rain may fall one year, then 100 next year! (Due to a 50-inch hurricane, lol.)

----------------------

Know this is topic is getting old, but, eh. Chest feels at times, a little weird. And it feels like my heart that's feeling weird. I don't know why or how, but it almost seems to be acting diseased or something. I might speculate the "retracted feeling" in the chest yesterday was due to anxiety due to the angry amanda (I also experienced a 5 minute dizzy episode in the middle of the afternoon, eyesight became disoriented, couldn't "see straight", though I could see clearly.), but getting a nap in later today and then after awaking, peaking thus creating a very noticeable heart sensation, like "retraction"/"sinking" as well, except not as noticeable as yesterday.

The room is spinning, you feel off balance, and it doesn't seem to be getting better. Should you go to the ER? Emergency room physician Dr. Troy Madsen says, depending on the person, it could be a sign of stroke. Find out the risk factors to consider and learn when to seek immediate help.

Oh yes, that'd seem to be the culprit. "The room is spinning", what I meant by "couldn't see straight".

I notice I'm getting fleeting feelings of pressure in my right forehead, feels deep, like it's in the brain.

The last noticeable time was when I woke up, and shortly after started driving to home depot. Frequent feelings of right forehead pressure.

So if someone comes in the ER and they say, "I feel dizzy," you know, we'll typically do some tests like an EKG to look at their heart. Certainly full physical exam, neurologic exam. Say, "Is anything else going on?" But quite often what this ends up being is what's called benign positional vertigo. So you've got like these canals in your ear that help you keep your balance and these little stones. And if one of these little stones gets out of place, it feels like the room is spinning and anyone who's been through this knows how miserable that feeling is.

You know, most cases it's going to go away after a week or so. We can give medication to kind of calm that sensation down and there are actually repositioning maneuvers you can do to try and get this little stone back in the right place. You know, it sounds kind of funny but it's . . . Yeah, it's one of the more common things we see in younger people, otherwise healthy people, who come in with this symptom.

Might be BPV, but it's notable they first look at the heart. Because, yeah, I've been noticing recent weirdness there too.

The fact BPV goes after a week or two, but my episode went away after 5 minutes (or so), about a few hours after a previous "retracted heart" feeling, yeah... dude...

The heart might be involved here.

The heart inducing a stroke seems plausible.

Reduced blood-flow pumped from the heart leading to a developing stroke sounds plausible.

I think with a high likelihood, there was a bit of vasoconstriction present. That probably contributed.

It's interesting looking at zillow, and not finding a >10 million developed property in the entire metropolitan of houston, but then going to Los Angeles, and finding a plethora of them!

Makes you wonder if the point 1 percenters in Los Angeles are making more money than the point 1 percenters in Houston.

Seeing a mortgage payment of 101,000 per month on this 25,000,000 beach home suggests someone in that town must be making some good dough, lol. And, there's many just like that one there.

That does seem extremely expensive, but considering I'm netting 20g/month on occasion, doesn't make it seem all that unrealistic. Would depend on the nature of the owner's industry(ies).

Learning of the sultan of brunei being the wealthiest guy in the world, had me google "sultan brunei sex" (Wondered about their sex lives, naturally), and found.

Indeed, the Sultan and his equally decadent brother, Prince Jefri, were dubbed “constant companions in hedonism” in 2011 by Vanity Fair. He lives in a palace with 1,788 rooms, 257 bathrooms, five swimming pools, a mosque, a banquet hall that holds 5,000 people and a 110-car garage. When he turned 50, the Sultan built a stadium, invited Michael Jackson to perform in it and paid him $17 million for three concerts.

Jefri, 59, maintains a separate pleasure palace and once owned a 152-foot yacht called Tits; he named its tenders Nipple 1 and Nipple 2, and could never understand why others often found that juvenile and crass. Here and abroad, the brothers are infamous for their sex parties and their harems composed mainly of underage girls.

Oh yes, he's fully aware of the pleasure of the younger girls. That's not hard to believe.

I've mentioned my family coming from Texas before I was born and the others moving back here. I doubt anyone but you ever gets so curious at why someone goes anywhere.

So I look at the houses so many live in here and they cost less than half what I could get for mine. But they'd get more than twice mine if they were near me. Damn, I could buy quite a ranch here, I don't live upscale in my home.

But I don't think those prices will last. They've averages a double in the last 6 years, the bottom is already looking to drop out because they're saying there is Noone to afford them. And the property tax on that $25m is 1.3%, $325,000 a year. Thanks to proposition 13 we don't have any additional local add-ons.

I'm mainly curious about you because you have the ability to buy good property here, and think you were talking about the possibility before. But, family visits seems to like a more likely reason in any year.

Anyway, got all the 2x4s today, all 220x of them. Took pretty much all day because of the sheer quantity and have to carry all of them by hand to the pile in the back (Which looked pretty impressive, think my neighbors are getting nosy, because my dog was barking at them hiding in the forest behind my property about 30 minutes ago, lol.)

Tomorrow I continue with the 2x6s and 4x6s. Anticipating another all day affair. Probably will try getting other line items on the list, since I'm running out of days for December, lol, and got so much money to blow, lol.

Probably will separate the 2x6s and 4x6s on different days. That's a LOT of heavy work on one day.

Corporations who have their tax filings on feb 14 are in lot better position for taxes than I am. I have like 5 days to spend my christmas earnings whereas they have about 2 months?

Anyway, stopped by panda since didn't take time to eat anything earlier, and quickly losing energy from all the work. white rice and chicken. The energy pick-me-up was noticeable.

Got a fortune cookie strip that said, "You have the attitude of a winner.".

I'm thinking, damn straight. What's the saying...

A quitter never wins and a winner never quits.

Damn straight. My competitor will "quit" in the heat of things, and I simply don't. Which .... is probably a wise policy, btw... gosh, the stress, can't help but think accumulated Christmas stress underlied the TIA somewhat. Think I'm going to be more active in finding help next year.

Think maybe I should prioritize fencing the materials before adding more...

Think of all those studs getting stolen, lol.

------------------

Wondering what's happening to the "smartest guy" in my highschool AP classes. A ha! Found his CV, definitely identified him.

Basically a PHD guy studying mathematics.

Funny, I've had a few PHD friends back in College. One I strongly member just "couldn't take the heat", fudging quit, living with his parents, and making a low wage for a nonprofit based out of the city of Portland (He lives in Spokane).

It's interesting how our paths are diverging. I'm becoming a business overlord supreme, while these guys are trudging in the trenches.

Damn, when am I getting my bow and arrow? I wanna have some fun trying to shoot squirrels, lol.

Since the sensation is noticeable, I'll talk about it.

The room is spinning.

Basically, in my experience, it looks like the room is rotating counter clockwise around the center of your vision. And it's constantly resetting or SOMETHING, because I don't believe it was doing a full 360. It kept jumping back about 90 degrees, and continued spinning around the center in a counter clockwise direction.

The symptoms I have when that is not happening.

Fleeting pains in the area behind the right eye. Fleeting right lobe pressure. And think that's it? Doesn't happen very often, maybe 5-10 times a day, barely noticeable.

Just a theory.

So, think the girl saw the website and thought, "He's rich". Thus why she was so happy.

Then I started comparing our spending habits, like shopping at walmart clearance after the holidays, and I think she might've been second guessing how rich I really was, and took a second look.

Hasn't been back. lol

Just a theory. Might be a bad one. Second click could've been from someone else.

If that theory were true, she'd seem to be a conspicuous spender. Spending money for the purpose of exemplifying status. And shopping habits are part and parcel of that. Someone shopping at walmart at clearance after the holidays is by no means exemplifying status. Think it'd be a funny assumption, I just have a better idea as to what kind of goods deserve investment (productive capital assets and investments) and what ones deserve minimization (Consumer goods, especially consumable goods. The worst among the consumables is drugs.), including shopping clearance at the best time. I'm not going to claim I'm some rich boy, but I think I do have the habits of one. At least /one type/. The real vs the fake. (The fact she an actress makes me think she thrives on faking shit, and a popular complaint of california (or california?), everyone is fake there. Heard it from a highschool guy, and a music video.)

There are some doubts to that theory, but that would assume she's a critical thinker. She appears to be fairly simple in her thought processes. I don't want to call her a pet, but I don't know man, I swear it's like she's a tomagatchi. Gets depressed if you haven't played with it or ignoring it. Gets angry if it thinks you're cheating. Gets hungry if you haven't fed it. And it seems like she's fairly simple in the way that happens, that part in particular, gives that "tomagatchi feel". lol

Dog has been barking quite vociferously just a couple hours ago (Now 3:55 a.m.), think the neighbor must be getting quite interested in this pile I have in the back. He's practically never back there at this time of night (Dog never wakes me up by barking in the middle of the night at something), but funny enough he's back there now with the wood back there.

So, getting that fenced off, and the dog repositioned. First priority today. And secure the window at night. (It hasn't been secured tonight, hearing my dog back, I locked my bedroom door, lol).

I had the suspicion it'd tempt someone over there, but I didn't think they'd be THIS TEMPTED.

I think the studs are primarily at risk now, about $450 of them. Don't think they're going to be hauling off the plywood sheets too quickly considering the distances they'd have to walk, lol.

I seem to have the work ethic and output of corporate (Both quantity and quality) when I have the funding necessary. Somewhat of a stark contrast to the folks here.

I haven't figured out the front exterior design for the new house build. It'd be nice to make it "look its best". Seems that front facing gables on roofs seem to be popular in most of the pricier houses, they appear to be added when there's no reason other than "looks" to add them.

It's interesting to think... if she thinks you're cheating on her, she may be the one that is cheating.

Ha hah, well...

Can't say that applies to this amanda girl, because I could see how my message could get misconstrued especially if "fear of getting cheated on" is present, which I'm sure it is for many faithful couples. Especially when you met the guy on tinder, lol.

BUT... if true, that'd be awfully fitting with the cheating suspicion I had earlier! Even though I previously rationalized that as being a misperceived work event. (I originally thought this guy went to her apartment to go make a cake, and I'm thinking... a huh... like that's all that happened. He was like "We make a great team, babe", thinking he's saying that in the context of having just blew his load on her. I think the actual context was both were nintendo brand ambassadors during the christmas season and making a mario cake during one of the final days.)

So the fact she'd angry at me for suspected cheating not that long after... HMMMMMMMM... lol

Still don't think she did because she missed me. I don't know enough about her personality to know if she would, and there's reasons to suspect there's a reasonable chance she's promiscuous. Like, the fact she hot, lol. She appears to be flirty. And has a personality similar to that of a "dumb whore" (Simple thought processes, dude). And just about the only girl who looked good who matched me on tinder, lol. (That's not true, but the other girls, most were definitely promiscuous.)

The fact her father was tracking me down, though. That might suggest she not a slut, then again, maybe not. Just thinking about what kind of family that likely is, and that doesn't seem like your average "Family with slutty and criminal children". [Like my neighbors over here to the left...]

Whomever SHE is. I mean all depends on what your definition of 'She' is, right?

They've settled in, you havent. They are just at home.

So I'm reminded of the normal sequence of events in my career: A lull period causes money trouble, I'm writing checks and putting the due date on the envelope so I can mail it as the erratic checks come. (You work for 6-7 different people in a month, you get 6-7 checks.) What I could do with this extra time if I wasn't broke. I was sure staying ready.

So when work picked up, first I'm getting all those checks in the mail. I could have a 6am call for a 10 hour day, then some of these city shoots would be 6-11pm, etc., I'd count that as 2 days in a 35 day month.

Then it died down. I didn't really have extra money, there was no way to go off on my own. I just had to job hunt.

Now I don't have the busy periods. The student loan is gone, house payment evolved to less than apartment rent, I do have better investment income than I did then. If only it was like this back when. Somehow I just don't believe there is anything to stay ready for. When your best chance is the lottery. . . .

So, can a corporation spend money on a Lamborghini even if it can't be deducted off taxes?

Wondering if I could just spend the corporation's money at will as if it were my personal spending money, given that it will be taxed. There is a penalty for high corporate savings, thus the pressure to spend or reinvest. (What is the penalty...)

swbluto said:

You can deduct. There can be an issue of calling it corporate when your use is personal. So if you drive it to trade shows and use it to promote the business, they can't argue. But of course they'll try.

Cool, can I spend corporate's money as if it were personal money. Only risk, is it might not be deductible and could be taxed. No biggie. Employees spend money on pretty much everything, money that they get taxed for. Ordinary workers can't write off car purchases or apartment rent, for example.

Think maybe there's a possibility of getting the incorporation rescinded by the IRS if I'm spending too much money on personal goods. But, if I don't claim a deduction for those "personal items"... how would they know?

Probably should spend cash to be on the safe side, lol.

Okay, got all the lumber delivered today, and ordered a delivery for the lap siding and shingles because I really doubt my van can easily carry it all in one trip, plus, don't want to fudging mess with each single one to get it home. I'll let them do that! lol

The guy gave me a delivery discount, ordinarily $69(I think?), dropped it down to $39. Yeah, sounds good to me.

Also went and purchased all the windows and doors. Didn't offload them yet, tomorrow morning.

Tomorrow, I continue with the "rest" of it. Need to review the design for the carpeting and tile and whatnot (I'm not sure if I'll have that figured out in a timely manner), for the flooring and tile.

Think I figured the living room gets the best plush fluffy carpet, and the bedrooms get the second rate fluffy stuff.

Thinking for the bathroom, getting the two piece plastic bath + setting on top. Looks easy and just straight $500. Don't have to mess with tiling that way, and don't need a "mortar bed"(I ordinarily do for the porcelain bath?).

Not sure if I could combine the plastic setting with the porcelain/steel baths. Looks plausible, and cheaper that way. Porcelain might have a preferable feel but then again... maybe not. I believe hotel baths were plastic and had no problems with those tubs. Porcelain also can feel "cold" to the skin, plastic doesn't.

The spend started picking up fast once I purchased all the lumber. Finally, seeing that money leaving my account, and outside the grasp of the taxman. SUCKERRR!! lol.

Picking up the rest of the 4x6s today, which were heavy as heck, went by like clockwork today. Unlike the days prior, I definitely had my strength to handle the task. The first 2 days of picking up lumber was just so I could build my muscle to handle the 4x6s today, lol. Good thing it happened last, lol.

https://www.bhg.com/bathroom/shower-bath/buying-a-tub/

Yeah, this place makes it sound like plastic tubs are preferable. Only downside is that it's more expensive than porcelain, but I don't really give much of a fudge over $100, and it works with the top set straight out of the box. That important, because no need for tile that way.

I underestimated the spend on the shingles ($800 actual vs $500), but overestimated on the windows and doors by about $150. Seems like my overestimates and underestimates are roughly balancing out.

Watching worker 1 interacting with worker 2 (playing around, I guess), I saw that his cheeks were rather flush and so was the young girl's. Oh, I see, they like each other.

The thing I noticed about the young girl is that she had many nose rings. That automatically predisposes me to think "slut". And seeing her passing around the sexual arousal, haha, yeah... anyway...

Right now, looks like 46F. The cold doesn't bother me when I'm transporting heavy lumber around, quite the contrary, have to take off my coat off to keep myself from overheating. As far as frozen hands... I guess the winds aren't that bad here. Never felt like frozen hands were a real risk.

This place does get cold on occasion when the polar winds come down south. During this time of the year, that often means below 35F.

The days I'm transporting the lumber around are the days I'm sleeping pretty darn well, and getting around 7-8 hours of sleep. Just this night, went to sleep at 8 and woke up at 4. Additionally, I noticed the demand for carbs is FAAAR lower when doing the heavy work, seems the body particularly wants fat and protein. Seems like fat, especially, given the more-than-normal tastiness of cheese and nuts. Think maybe I could only handle 4 bananas yesterday, and it seems like that may have been too much. Felt perfectly fine yesterday, better than normal, actually.

Maybe the lowered carb consumption would bode well for my lower tooth recession. Seems like that was true in times past. Severe anxiety during christmas work season led to no appetite, and could definitely feel my gums coming back.

I also noticed my voice gets noticeably deeper and lower, much like snagging the pretty girl does (At least thinking you did). Doing manly things makes the voice low.

Think it's funny, but logical, when investors/bankers have all the money, businesses are trying to get their revenue more from investors/banks than end consumers. Makes me think if that's the primary focus of a business, that business is going to fail, assuming it requires end consumer revenue to live.

I'm entirely dependent on end consumer revenue, which I think is good, it orients me to produce what people want. Which seems like a utilitarian approach, maximizing happiness of the many. I told my neighbor that when he inquired as to what I sold, I told him "I sell happiness".

Was told the local depot does about 30 million sales a year. About 50% thru "pro customers" (Contractors and developers, mostly, I'd guess.).

---------------

Now 5:40 a.m. (Waiting for sun to arise to unload the windows/doors), and that banana really made me feel WIDE AWAKE. Not a normal affect of eating bananas, but I guess this particular morning did. Think the heavy physical work contributes to this "Wide awake" feeling, noticed my "old curiosity" coming back in recent days, an urge to look around. In addition to remembering names I couldn't remember before, like the name of the smartest guy in my AP class. And, surprisingly, the name of the smartest girl.

Danny Crytser
Madeline Blodgett

Funny what all this physical work is doing for me. It was just a suspicion as to its health benefits, but I didn't think it'd have THIS kind of impact. Remembering shit I thought I had long forgotten.

And that was basically carrying all the lumber I'll need for a 24x28 (672 sqft) over a period of 4 days, about 100 feet on average. If I were to guess the total weight, I'd suspect around 2.5-4 tons.

---------

Wait, what.

What exactly does she do again...

Sounds like mostly health research. (She's long had the tendency to be a bit complex and flowery in her language with the intent to impress.)

Not sure exactly what she does that brings home the bacon.

It's interesting she has taken up "training for powerlifting competitions", not something I'd ordinarily suspect of her. I guess she's figured out the health benefits of heavy work.

Oakland california, I do believe that's historically been a "poor district", which wouldn't be surprising for a young pup (I'm also in a poorer district of Houston but... definitely NOT THE WORST AREA, lol. That would've been my prior area, yes. This isn't a permanent situation, my peers and I are climbing the property ladder, mostly.). But being in the San Francisco area, that's plausibly pretty impressive.

If I were in San Francisco, it'd be because I developed a property around there in the foothills near palo alto. But, that's not happening for a while with lot prices around $75,000. That's because I fudging refuse to rent, I don't care about the consequences. I would rather be the lord, than the serf.

I think it's funny girls see my title (CEO of XYZ), and most think bullshit. But then they actually see A GLIMPSE of my business, and they're like WOAAHHHHHH... lol. Yeah, think I'm bullshitting them or something, lol. Which is true, seems like a lot of guys are bullshitters. But it is true, it is a nascent company, its expansion been restricted from growth pretty much ever since I moved out. And, well. I guess I'll be expanding pretty much as soon as construction begins and finish the winter work. Think it's cold enough now such that mosquitos aren't a problem to effectively use the floor.

So both of the smartest kids in my highschool class are doing research and working in the trenches. I'm not saying that "i'm doing better than them", but as much as I've had a hard time accepting that I've really been excelling, it kind of seems like it now, hahaha.

I guess one difference is while they've been thinking, I've been doing. Thinking and doing. (One major form of doing being "hunting", in essence.)

Thanatos is my motivation. Only so many years left in my life (The warning signs have had a way of reminding me...), and I'd be damned thinking I didn't accomplish anything. In a general sense, I loathe wasting time. (But in some specific cases and times, I do like it, I consider it "Taking a break", lol)

It's interesting, his talk about "smart people". Sounds much like the two smartest kids in my class, "they spend their time figuring things out and never getting around to doing nothing".

Okay, need to design the kitchen. And the flooring plan.

Two high dollar things that would be great to deduct off taxes, but definitely requires a plan so I know what to purchase.

Still need to pick up insulation. Something else I need to figure out, would be best to do that at the store, right now, I could figure out the number of gaps between the trusses.

Pretty much got the bathroom taken care of. Vanity cabinet, sink, medicine cabinet, bathtub ensemble, shower curtain rod, rings and curtain. And some hardware. There's hardware I'll need to figure out when I get to installing it. Plumbing is kind of a blackbox right now, as far as what exactly I need, that I'm assuming will beome apparent in time.

Got the skus for...

bathtub ensemble
toilet
water heater

Going to group it with the septic tank delivery tomorrow. Might as well include the kitchen with that delivery. I'll probably haul home the flooring.

I decided I'll figure out as I go along (Or pickup as needed).

Drywall (Mainly because, don't have adequate storage for drywall to keep it dry.)
Electrical
Plumbing
Lighting
Fans

The base cabinets were cheapest in the 3 foot variety, $33/foot that way.

Should compare to lowes.

The cheapest I saw at the lowes website was $114 for the 3 foot. Home depot is definitely cheaper, was $100 there.

Learned that there was a special sink cabinet for the sink. Got the sink.

I noticed I'm like the only person with the cart filled to brim at Home Depot. The vast majority of people there are picking up a couple of items pertaining to this or that project, I'm bringing home a house, lol.

----------------

Okay, think I figured out the insulation would require more than one trip, so going to include that with the delivery. Need somewhere around 15-20 bundles, a little bit too much for the van.

There are 52 wall gaps and 312 lineal feet in the ceiling. The 2 numbers I need to remember.

14 trusses means 13 gaps, which at 24 ft per gap, is 312 feet total.

CORRECTION:

Actually, 28 feet means 15 trusses (1 additional at the gable end), so that'd be 14 gaps which leads to 14*24 = 336 feet.

52 wall gaps and 336 feet.

----------------

While walking down the aisle for the bathroom sink cabinets, there was a guy at the end with his cart, whose wife just went to another aisle and I was walking in his direction, he took one look at me, then about 10 seconds later... "honey! Where are you? honey!!!" with a rather high pitched voice.

LOL. Did I just scare the shit out of him? LOL.

Which is funny, because I had no such intention, but it's humoring me regardless.

I'm guessing maybe he could sense the irritation I had from getting woken up from my heater, and may have mistakened it as my being pissed at him. And, with my beefy body and confident demeanor, easy to understand how it could have that effect.

So he's not the "fearless protector" type, is he...

Kind of making me think that the warrior princess and I really are soulmates, lol.

I do believe in the 1 in a 100 soulmates, yes I do. Some cases, maybe even 1 in 1000. Just need to let go of whatever misconceptions you have of the "ideal mate", and go for whomever strongly attracts you unlike any other.

AND THE PROBLEM??? Geez. I did notice that girls on OkCupid will only date within 4 years of their own age, judging from everyone who matched, but... DAMN... did the 18 year old HEB chick and I match unlike anything else... and she WAS NOT fudging 4 years within my age. I don't fudging believe in those age discrimination stereotypes. Girls are attracted to "good men" across a wide range of ages IN THE REAL WORLD.

NOT PLAYING IT COOL IS WHAT THEY WANT.

GAHHHHH.... WTH...

I cannot unsee what I've seen. FML.

The last I remember of her was some long luscious brown hair and now... THIS? The san fran look?

GAH. SF can fudge itself.

Germany is like San Fran? What is wrong with the world, lol.

I think it's interesting that Germany is now the banker of europe, and europe its debtees, whereas seemed that was a critique of Nazi germany, they were indebted to Europe for WW1 and down with the jewish banking class. Now they ARE the banking class, lol. (Not hard to surmise jewish bankers might have inroads in modern Germany, not unlike with NYC.)

So, designed the carpeting and got the dimensions I'll need for purchase. At least enough to get the bulk of it for maximum tax deduction. Might need more later, not a big deal.

And, designed the kitchen. And... at $45/foot... (assuming)...

Looks like I have about 11 feet total (4 feet is for the refrigerator and dishwasher). Kitchen is 9 feet long.

Looks like my kitchen is about $500 for base cabinets. Not getting wall cabinets now.

With the refrigerator ($500), sink($100), garbage disposal($100), stove ($400), and wall cabinets ($400), and counters ($150), dishwasher($400), looks like it'd take an additional $2050 to finish, and about $2500 in total. For a "proper sized kitchen" (10-12 feet long per side), I'd suspect a figure of $3000 minimum is reasonable.

I underestimated the kitchen fixed cost by about $2000. I posited a figure of $1000.

For now, getting the base cabinets and counters. Already purchased the sink top kit. Will keep using my little refrigerator and get a toaster oven for baking things. My hotplate works well for surface cooking. No need for a microwave, never really used them.

Conserving capital for now, but getting all the inevitable essential purchases that are practical to get done, done before Jan1.

Capital right now is prioritized for income investment and bringing the new house finished and upto minimum essential standard.

I keep periodically thinking I NEED TO BLOW IT FOR A TAX WRITEOFF, but remember it's good to keep 80% of whatever I have leftover (Taxman takes the other 20%, actually 5-10% in practice.), for income investment. And don't want to blow the income investment capital.

So need to call 84 lumber to price their trusses out. I was told their "in stock" trusses are pretty cost effective, it's the ones they have to quote out that are going to be expensive (Like the 20 footers I got quoted, was 3x my own build cost). And the HD employee seemed to think they had 24 foot trusses.

If I decide to build, I'm debating whether I should be getting the lumber now.

That 2x6 for base will be 24 feet long. Not really sure how I'd be storing 24feet lumber precisely for 1-1.5 months before I actually use them. Kind of seems like a bad idea.

Looks like a finished 24 foot roof truss is about 125 pounds. Sounds barely manageable. Trying to figure how I might be moving that across the lawn. I guess I can drag it, and then would probably want some kind of ramp onto the build platform. Or, probably not, could just put one side on, then lift the other side and push onto the platform.

Also need to return 2 windows, and get 2x4 windows instead. Minimum open height for bedroom egress windows is 24 inches, fire requirements.

Now where can I get 2x4 acoustic windows. That's the kind I'd want for the bedrooms, help keep them quiet.

Think I'll go with the traditional windows and figure out how to soundproof at night. Looks like "Add something heavy in front of it", is the way to go, and there must be a cheaper option than this one site I'm seeing telling me $300-400 a window.

Think pretty much, real estate will be where my "extra capital" (outside of what I need for income investment, including development) is parked.

Not been a topic before, because never really had that "extra capital" not having the base yet established, but feels like I'm getting close to that point.

I'll also entertain triple long IXIC opportunities when they come about once a decade.

I figured out the local pro customers, assuming they get the vast majority of their stuff from home depot, build about 200 houses a year in the local area, assuming $50,000 a house.

Looks like 30 homedepots in the houston area, so about 6000 houses are added yearly to Houston,TX from HDs. In total from all sources, might be closer to 10-15k/year.

And the population growth is what. Looks like 30,000/yr on average.

Might surmise that housing supply growth is easily keeping up with population growth. Not a surprising conclusion, given the lax regulation and wide availability of "useful" land (Close to things).

It'd odd I find myself thinking about asking, "Is Amanda a christian?".

Cause, gosh, seems like I'm leading her down an immoral path, lol. But, she's been down this path before, so.

Yeah, anyway, just wonder, because the stats tell me... don't marry a non-christian.

Seeing the "sexy smile" on her was telling me she wasn't repulsed by the topic. Well, maybe she was. I'm not explicit, I think girls just have a way of intuiting reactions. I guess I can be a little seductive.

So wonder about the girl who got stabbed in the tinder date.

She was getting stabbed by the guy for "Being the devil".

Yahoo comments are suggesting "Roid rage", but...

I'm thinking there's probably something else going on here.

And the candidates I'm having is sexual rejection.

Or autism.

I look at this girl's picture, and I'm getting the sense looking at her face, there's a chance she's near the spectrum. And it's quite fitting if this guy was attacking her because "She was the devil", autism persecution is a defining theme in Human history, and calling them "the devil" (or devilish counterparts, like witches) is standard as hell, lol. Throwing the crazy guy into the sacrificial fire for the gods, witch hunts, et al.

If the act of sex was on the table, as I might surmise for this guy, it's very possible that the "love and war" response was at play. (The gut reaction emotional choice between sex or murder)

This Amanda girl. I think... she's not really that close to the spectrum. At times, I might suspect it from her "Elven appearance", but she makes pretty good use of her facial expressions, lol. It's obvious when she's... depressed, feeling sexy, ecstatic, or vengefully mad. I would like to call her looks "mad" when she thought I was admitting to cheating on her, but I think that was actually more a vengeful look. "I'm going to kill you", lolol. It's fitting that seemed like that was happening the next day, with the heart issues and subsequent TIA. Might surmise the heart was throwing clots.

Thinking our relations might be one of more "Like a moth to flame", she already apparently likes the femme fatale characters judging from her poison ivy costume, lol. I've been long told I'm unusually attracted to the dangerous situations, places where I should not go. Think maybe that might be true among people, lol.

Well, maybe it's normal.
