The days I'm transporting the lumber around are the days I'm sleeping pretty darn well, and getting around 7-8 hours of sleep. Just this night, went to sleep at 8 and woke up at 4. Additionally, I noticed the demand for carbs is FAAAR lower when doing the heavy work, seems the body particularly wants fat and protein. Seems like fat, especially, given the more-than-normal tastiness of cheese and nuts. Think maybe I could only handle 4 bananas yesterday, and it seems like that may have been too much. Felt perfectly fine yesterday, better than normal, actually.
Maybe the lowered carb consumption would bode well for my lower tooth recession. Seems like that was true in times past. Severe anxiety during christmas work season led to no appetite, and could definitely feel my gums coming back.
I also noticed my voice gets noticeably deeper and lower, much like snagging the pretty girl does (At least thinking you did). Doing manly things makes the voice low.

Think it's funny, but logical, when investors/bankers have all the money, businesses are trying to get their revenue more from investors/banks than end consumers. Makes me think if that's the primary focus of a business, that business is going to fail, assuming it requires end consumer revenue to live.
I'm entirely dependent on end consumer revenue, which I think is good, it orients me to produce what people want. Which seems like a utilitarian approach, maximizing happiness of the many. I told my neighbor that when he inquired as to what I sold, I told him "I sell happiness".
Was told the local depot does about 30 million sales a year. About 50% thru "pro customers" (Contractors and developers, mostly, I'd guess.).

Now 5:40 a.m. (Waiting for sun to arise to unload the windows/doors), and that banana really made me feel WIDE AWAKE. Not a normal affect of eating bananas, but I guess this particular morning did. Think the heavy physical work contributes to this "Wide awake" feeling, noticed my "old curiosity" coming back in recent days, an urge to look around. In addition to remembering names I couldn't remember before, like the name of the smartest guy in my AP class. And, surprisingly, the name of the smartest girl.

Funny what all this physical work is doing for me. It was just a suspicion as to its health benefits, but I didn't think it'd have THIS kind of impact. Remembering shit I thought I had long forgotten.
And that was basically carrying all the lumber I'll need for a 24x28 (672 sqft) over a period of 4 days, about 100 feet on average. If I were to guess the total weight, I'd suspect around 2.5-4 tons.

Wait, what.

What exactly does she do again...
Sounds like mostly health research. (She's long had the tendency to be a bit complex and flowery in her language with the intent to impress.)
Not sure exactly what she does that brings home the bacon.
It's interesting she has taken up "training for powerlifting competitions", not something I'd ordinarily suspect of her. I guess she's figured out the health benefits of heavy work.
Oakland california, I do believe that's historically been a "poor district", which wouldn't be surprising for a young pup (I'm also in a poorer district of Houston but... definitely NOT THE WORST AREA, lol. That would've been my prior area, yes. This isn't a permanent situation, my peers and I are climbing the property ladder, mostly.). But being in the San Francisco area, that's plausibly pretty impressive.
If I were in San Francisco, it'd be because I developed a property around there in the foothills near palo alto. But, that's not happening for a while with lot prices around $75,000. That's because I fudging refuse to rent, I don't care about the consequences. I would rather be the lord, than the serf.
I think it's funny girls see my title (CEO of XYZ), and most think bullshit. But then they actually see A GLIMPSE of my business, and they're like WOAAHHHHHH... lol. Yeah, think I'm bullshitting them or something, lol. Which is true, seems like a lot of guys are bullshitters. But it is true, it is a nascent company, its expansion been restricted from growth pretty much ever since I moved out. And, well. I guess I'll be expanding pretty much as soon as construction begins and finish the winter work. Think it's cold enough now such that mosquitos aren't a problem to effectively use the floor.
So both of the smartest kids in my highschool class are doing research and working in the trenches. I'm not saying that "i'm doing better than them", but as much as I've had a hard time accepting that I've
really been excelling, it kind of seems like it now, hahaha.
I guess one difference is while they've been thinking, I've been doing. Thinking and doing. (One major form of doing being "hunting", in essence.)

Thanatos is my motivation. Only so many years left in my life (The warning signs have had a way of reminding me...), and I'd be damned thinking I didn't accomplish anything. In a general sense, I loathe wasting time. (But in some specific cases and times, I do like it, I consider it "Taking a break", lol)
It's interesting, his talk about "smart people". Sounds much like the two smartest kids in my class, "they spend their time figuring things out and never getting around to doing nothing".
