Hello, everyone. I have an interesting question. I have a TSDZ8 motor that I bought on AliExpress.
The motor came with a brake sensor. I thought, oh well, I don't need it. After installing the motor on the bike, I ran into my first problem. The cable running from the TSDZ8 motor to the display and throttle also has two outputs for the brake sensors, plus an extra red one. I don't understand what it's for. Basically, I have a 1T4 cable, with two connectors for the brake sensors just hanging out; I don't need them.
Also, the power cable from the motor itself is about 30-40 cm long. It's long.
Then I started looking at how other TSDZ8 owners connected their wiring. For some reason, other TSDZ8 motors have an 8-pin main cable. Mine has a 9-pin output. Their power cable is short, and mine is long. You can buy a 1T2 cable for the TSDZ8 on AliExpress. I was excited at first, but then I discovered it doesn't fit my motor. Do I have an older version of the TSDZ8 motor?
