Creating a kit using cute motors, any recommendations?

Hi there to all!

Seeing that in my country we are completely clueless about ebikes and given that the biggest problem my people see in ebike kits is the cost, I am planning on creating my own brand of budget electric bicycle kits using ecitypower as my supplier.

Those guys are the ones from bmsbattery.com and they manufacture cute and bafang motors. I want my kit to remain legal (at least the starter version) so I thought that maybe the geared cute motor will make the difference (bafangs are direct drive right?).

Due to the fact that I am planning to make a large wholesale order I think I might be able to ask for some minor changes during production that might prove essential, I will order a sample shortly but I thought it would be nice to ask if some of you had any thoughts to point.

I am planning to pair the motor with a 36v 8-10ah limn battery probably in an abs case that will have room for the controller as well and I will create here, although the bottle case they produce looks neat.

Any thoughts?

You may want to talk to cell_man about a bulk purchase. His $150 kits are good stuff. They may ultimately cost less than the BMSbattery/ecitypower kits once you figure in shipping. I have a feeling he'd be willing to cut you a deal on a crate or two. I had brought up the idea to him and he was very receptive.

You might want to do some research before you jump into this. You are wrong on most of your info there. Example: Ecitypower does not make motors they only resell.

"GrayKard" is correct on RESELLER.
They claim eo be manufacturers but are not.
I have t3 fo the 128 Cute hub and love it. But if you get anything from them don't expect any SUPPORT on it. Good prices and that is about it. NO SUPPORT.
I'm still looking for some gears for the CUTE 128 and even the Manufacturer ANANDA doesn't respond. Stay away!

They claim to be manufacturers... Whatever, about the support issues I am aware of it regarding retail customers, that is why I think I will succeed, if they had those prices and good support everyone would buy from them! I am hopping to replace any malfunctioning components and then sent them back as a bulk for replacement or repair. I guess if we have a growing business relationship they will treat me a bit differently...

Graycard can you please help me on this? I mean I see your point about ecitypower being a reseller but what other info I got wrong?

Cell man is the one from the emissions-free site? I only see 350w motors and above there but it might worth to take a look... He is a manufacturer or reseller?
