Ahh, yes, children. I have 3 myself. They are a joy, but yes, they are a huge responsibility.

The ages of my children are 7, 12, and my daughter just turned 16. :D

Just wait till she starts walking. You will have your hands full............

A new prototype is born! Try not to break this one.

Congratulations!

Lol! Ill do my best! Its crazy you feel like even picking them up your gonna just pull pieces off! They are soooooo tiny!!

Congatulations mate, she's a wee beauty.

You need to take a photo of her and your bike, then when she's old enough to understand show her the photo and tell her off for holding up your project :D
Mind you the bike will come in handy when the crying and nappy changing gets to much. You can nip off for a spin and a 20min brake.

Regards
Tom

Thanks everyone for the kind words! I will hopefully get time to put the bike back together soon! She is starting to get in a little routine, so I think once that is going I will be able to step away once in a while! Its hard though, she is just so dam cute, you just want to stare at her all day! LOL!

Whats that Matt, your daughter has just turned 16 and she's still not walking ...

My kids are nearly 30 and have kids of there own but they still need advice and "stuff" which can be nice " sometimes ".

Welcome to parent hood... congrats

Its definitely an experience! Thanks guys!

Well I am starting to get back on the bike project a little bit I did get started looking for A stronger box for a much more powerful drive for myself and I think I finally found 1 That should handle an excess of 10,000 watts! I am just looking at this for now But it's looking very promising! As for the standard drive I almost have it back together so I can finish testing and should have some info soon! I have had a few people ask for pricing And once I finish testing I will have that for you, I just want to be sure that everything is good! I should have more videos this weekend!

wow, 10kw? link? that should be unbreakable, hopefully the weight is not too much...

so ive been going through the thread again, but i couldnt find what size chain you are using? and where did you get it from? im considering getting a smaller chain to reduce the size of my drive as my front triangle is tiny (its a dj bike, giant stp...)

I think you will need to get a baby seat to go on the back and take the little one on a ride :p let her feel the wind in her face, lol

Already in the works! But I plan on a trailer just in case I fall over or something! We have two nice bikes now, so My wife will have my Hub bike, and I will have this one.

As for the HD gearbox, I am in the works with a company that builds a really nice box for small tractors and wheelbarrows and they have a nice Billet gearbox with high RPM bearings supported both sides and it is even sealed! They are going to be changing a few design characteristics for my application so I should only need a small reduction from a belt or chain going into the box and I will have what I really want, a 50-60MPH bike!! WE WILL SEE if it works out, of course that will only be in small bursts or the battery will die in a hurry! This is just my next phase build and will likely not go onto this bike. I plan on getting a really nice downhill bike when $$ permits and outfit it with this new box. The beauty of it is, I will only give up a few more LBS to take huge power! The company swears their box is whisper quiet too! I will have more info as time goes on. For now, I just need to finish the current configuration and get them selling!
