Seriously nice job on that mate, thats a very sellable box!! for those that have the money but not the time or the skills!!
that'll be me then mate

i do my best with the bike components/mechanics and the prettying but i wouldn't have a bike like this if it was'nt for the support and help i get here
voicecoils,
yes, its a blinder, 2mm aluminium allround case with removable side cover, inside steves done me 60 A123 cells in a 10s6p setup (will be running 66v initially) ,all heat shrinked and snug as a bug.this is the exact pack i had in mind when i first bought the kona about a year ago - i bought the largest (19") frame i could with that geometry and believe me the 60 cells and xlyte fit well, but i wouldnt get any more in

Also in the box are 2 of steves LVC boards which can be unplugged so that i can put my balancer on the same connectors, nice, and of course the xlyte controller.the controller is mounted to the roof of the box and has been de-shelled from its original housing for cooling and space.
pwbset,
looooooooool    thank you.
Mitchji,
sure no problem, steve took pictures all along the journey so i'll post them up when i get a chance.
Knoxie,joz,
thanks for all the support since i first wheeled out the dc1 test bike, wouldn't have this bike if it wasnt for you guys
im up for an end of season meeting any time you guys can make it - i have an inlaw visit this weekend but after that im free pretty much. Have kona, will travel 8)
Steve if you fancy a meet can i suggest yours maybe? if bob could come and me and knoxie that could be cool?
whatever im there, gimme a week or two and the bike should be raceable errr i mean rideable

I've popped some comments on the photos now so that will help explain better where im at at the mo - im hoping to work on the bike during the week for a ride as soon as but it will depend on the torque arm/rear brake situation really and how long it takes to sort out, i have a plan but im waiting for the arms to dry so i can finish the mechanics, then cable tidy and we are set 8)
i'll get some video as soon as i can, maybe second ride
cheers all,
D
