When driving a forklift in the cold months outside in uk its very noticeable there's a power loss the hydraulic pumps have a lower rpm you can here there is less discharge and they go flat in no time, That is an occasion when a better battery is needed cold climates. There are lots of innovation in battery's that can handle higher temps but what about polar exploration most devices fall flat on their face that's were a better battery should be developed discharge well when frozen solid and work in high temp situations whether it be a controlled environment its placed in or the science is robust enough to cycle no matter what the condition.
