Ok, Rick. I'll get the big foot costume, you get the camera and meet me on the trail in 30 minutes!

Might I remind you, Rix carries a gun! Don't want to scare a guy at night with a big foot costume when he carries a gun! 2+2 and all that.

Just saying.......

You guys are killing me  . Its true, I got lead throwing capabilities when I ride, but if Bigfoot was trying to charge me, and I was facing the other way on my ebike to so I could un-ass the area of operation at a high rate of speed , I wouldn't have to shoot a mythical creature like Bigfoot  Bigfoot aint going to catch me.

lucky man, at those speeds if they got under a wheel, it could have turned really ugly.

Great vid though!

I've had a few incidents like this in Thailand with dogs, one time I kicked it this repeat offending dog that kept looking like it was trying to bite me, I kicked it in the head while riding and it never did it again.

Another time I saw lady unconscious after her motorbike hit a dog. Lots of stray dogs roaming the streets there.

Here in Australia bloody turkeys do a bolt to cross in front and I have even had a kangaroo jump out in front of me..... I've run over a snake too which I put my feet up as high in the air as possible. Almost hit some cats at night too.

There's really not much you can do at high speeds, just tense up and ready for the impact or not.

Yeah, it was shocking. 2nd time this year chased by dogs. 1st one was fun because I was on the road so easy to outrun them.

I've been bit before on foot around 5 years ago. It was a small dog and hurt. I couldn't imagine a big dog. Started researching deterrents.

Like others have said Drew, close one, and the camera doesn't show how close it really was. I found that pepper spray works rather well on dogs, but it would be a moving shot from your bike to a moving target, the dogs.

Been raining all week so it was good time to plastidip the fork. Looks better than I expected. Will see how it holds up after a couple weeks. If good, going to do sides covers. Maybe the whole bike! Have a vid coming of putting some of the plastidip on. Thanks for tip on this stuff!

Taped the fork. I wanted to take fork off but you need to slide the clamp on the fork to mount it to bike. So would have needed to tape it anyway after mounting it to finish top portion.

Found some new roads through the country not too far away. I love riding through the country side. I also found a trail off the road. It was too muddy so will come back.

I was using full OVS 7 today. Wow, it really drains the battery. I usually get around 32 miles/ 52 km. With OVS 7, it was only 22 miles / 35 km. I was hitting the throttle hard though :)

I'm still amazed at how cool this setup runs. I still have not even come close to overheating.

Very nice Drew, keep in mind that the cold weather, our batteries will sag more and usable wh will be down. I am in the process of determining by how much with temps between 0F and 32F.

Thanks John. Yeah, that moped tire is a beast. Very strong. Look forward to see how it handles in the snow.

Unfortunately, AFT is really upset with me. It's just sitting on the floor and getting very jealous. She doesn't know this yet but may sell her. This bike is exceeding all my expectations where I live. I will use funds to keep upgrading this bike.

Glad you got LR running well. Enjoying all the videos!

Next on my list is kickstand.

Also, saw gopro session came down in price. I like it size and will allow easily to mount the camera in various angles. This will be used as a second camera or main camera with different angles. But then I was thinking about mobius action camera is cheaper and would serve same purpose and half the cost.

Hunting season around here so limited where I can ride offroad this month. I found a new place that was nice though.
