At long last, a seat big enough for my big ass

It actually looks good too. Even with the tassels.

This seat matches perfectly to the Stealth's angler shape. I don't know why it was so hard for me to see that. I should have known that last centurys classic look doesn't play well with this centurys modern looks.

I'm wondering whether my other half would like my red one so i can get a new one.......

Such a shame what they've done with the new look, the decals or whatever you want to call it, the Graphic Design. If it ain't broke... Looks pretty damn silly if you ask me. They actually paid someone to make their bikes look worse? Crazy world we live in.

I think Stealth has been going in the wrong direction for a long time, not just with looks. Back in 2008 it made more sense to push the offroad aspect, but when bikes like the SurRon started coming out it was a death knell for Stealth as a off road leader. The first time I saw an Onyx with an offroad kit I laughed, but at least Onyx is smart enough to know their main forte is on the street. I still believe Stealth could be a huge player in the eBike world, but they need to reinvent themselves for what their bikes always wanted to be best at, being great street bikes. Case in point

Sur Ron seat number 1 rs.jpg

What Bombers have that SurRon, and Onyx don't is combined strength, and light weight. SurRon are flimsy flexy, and Onyx weigh a ton, and are extremely top heavy. Bombers in comparison have a million dollar, monocoque frame that's both strong, and light, and has a low center of gravity. Normally to get that combination manufacturers have to resort to exotic (think expensive) materials. The advantage Stealth has is mostly wasted in the dirt were a little flexing isn't as much of a disadvantage.

I think the problem Stealth has is the entire population of Australia is only the size of Texas, and they're living in a little bubble that really doesn't understand how the world (American) market has changed since 2008. I think it would be easy for Stealth to reclaim their rightful position as world leader, but they need to stop listening to bad advise.

These are my suggestions,

Fire the Italian dumb ass that gave them the bad advise to go after the little bike market.
Shitcan the entire little bike line.
Concentrate on production of Big Twins, and Sportsters, sorry, I mean Bombers, and Fighters.
Revamp the focus to mainly street riders.
Hire someone to help them understand American styling tastes, then focus on the American market.
After sales start to increase come out with aftermarket accesories for both personalization, and performance
Concentrate on getting brick and mortar shops to become local dealers.
Send me a free bike for saving the company. :D

This is a design consept for a tank bag leaked out of the biknut secret skunk works. All my ideas are open source freely offered to the Stealth factory to use with no strings attached.

It's been over 2 months since the rebuild, and even though the good riding season was over, I've still been able to log enough miles to get a real good feel for how well it works now. I've been saying it was great all along, but often after familiarity sets in opinions can change. That's not the case this time though, if anything I like it more now. It also doesn't hurt that the SurRon seat I installed a few weeks ago is probably the most comfortable seat I've had on any bike I've owned, including my Road King. This build was greatly aided by the fact that Allex, and bigbore had already blazed a trail through the jungle that was easy follow. Because of Allex I knew ahead of time that a Kelly KLS7218S controller would work well, and bigbore proved that a QS205 motor would fit my swingarm. What I wasn't totally prepared for was finding out just how well those parts actually work together in my bike. For the record a 7218S controller is 80 amp, the QS205 is 5000w, and my battery has a 100 amp bms.

After 3 weeks of freezing ass cold, the last 2 days got up to 70 degrees, and I took advntage of it both days. I just got back from a 40 mile ride around town. I really enjoy the extra power I have in traffic now, especially above 45 mph and in the 45 to 55 mph range. Before, that was full throttle, high power consumption territory, but now I can cruise at 50 mph on partial throttle, and not much voltage sag. At heavy acceleration there is big voltage sag, even more than before, but cruising at any steady speed it seems like the efficiency is noticeably better than stock with very little sag. Even though I find myself cruising around at higher speeds now than before, my range hasn't dropped much. Todays ride only used a little more than half my battery. It's like the best of both worlds. One last thing I'd like to mention is that even though I no longer have a amp hour meter, I really haven't missed it at all. I can tell all need to know about my battery by the voltage alone.

I'm not a big fan of SurRon, but I do have a lot of respect for what they've accomplished in a short time. What wows me the most is SurRon's aftermarket. Check out what this Texas shop is doing.

This is the side of the barn. Because, you know, there's barns all over the place in Texas

Yesterday while I was out riding I came across this clone, first one I've seen in real life. It has the big daddy QS hub motor. He liked my bike. but what got his attention the most was my seat. He ask I lot of questions about how he could get one for his bike. I told him all he has to do is buy one on eBay because they sell seat sub frames for clones all day long, but nobody sells didily jack for a real Stealth.

Is there any other kind of hatchet????
Glad to hear your unit is still running good. You do any more tweaks to the tuning?

I only made 1 change. I changed the acceleration time from 3 to1, which is the fastest. 1 feels natural to me, about like stock. I don't really anticipate making any other changes. I haven't noticed any issues like hitting a limiter, or stalling. It runs exactly like you would expect. After all the complaints I've seen about Kelly controllers I'm not noticing any. It seems like a good controller to me, just like Allex said. I do' like having 80 amps, It's not crazy power compared to stock, but it's nice. It's like super stock.

Allex said:
Thx for kind words TV! So next upgrade would probably be... the battery again is my guess. Specially if you would go with nuc controller later on.

Yes, you're the voice of experience Allex. There wouldn't be much benefit to installing a nuc with the battery I have. As it stands I feel like I have a perfect balance between battery, controller, and motor. Nothing is getting stressed, so dependability should be as good as stock.

If I'm lucky enough to get a Nuc controller I'll probably plan on upping everything for 100 amp operation, but I feel no urgency for doing that right now.

Denton...haven't been there since the early-mid 80s. Does it still have the old town square, with the courthouse, and somewhere on the square the old pharmacy with the mosaic-tile floor, 50s' chromed barstools/counters, and fountain drink machine and ice cream floats?

The courthouse square is still the same. I'm not sure about the pharmacy. My sister owned the McNeall appliance store on the North side of the square. I used to think of Denton as a quiet town like Mayberry, but now it seems crowded with a lot of traffic, and narrow streets. It's always had a lot college kids, but not like what I see now. Now they look like a bunch of woke ass weirdo's with weird hair, and cloths. One good thing I noticed is there's now a lot of new places to eat all around the downtown area.
