I have got everything fixed and working properly! It has lithium battery for main power, candy sparkle purple paint, police siren system, customized headlight, tinted tail light and all blinkers, led bulbs in all lights, modern throttle (not original light-ray one), got a floor mat cut to size, and enormous boombox on the back that turns heads for blocks! Next up is black rims, push button start, and ground glow black lights;)

Looks good but i question the wisdom in installing an annoying sound system.. however if you employ it to play a south park esq "BrrBrrBrr" you may earn forgivness

Yeah, I will never understand why many people with very poor taste think everyone else should hear whatever they're listening to. When I'm out on the street, I want to hear my surroundings for safety and situational awareness. You're free to handicap yourself however you like, but please don't inflict it on folks who have better judgment.

Blasting music, cruising down the street is culturally accepted in some parts of the world. judging from the purple lean references I'm getting Houston vibes, where I lived for a while and where slabs were common. I personally think it added character to the city, but regardless, anyone can of course choose not to live in those places, and expecting other cultures to change to fit one's own is entitled.

"Entitled" is thinking you should make pointless noise to bother/deafen people who didn't ask for it. "Entitled" is driving a car around humans and cyclists. "Entitled" is being a polluter-- of air, sound, public space.

Houston sucks for so many reasons already. Making it even noisier on purpose is sociopathic.

Not loud most of the time don't worry:) Just like to have a party ready to bring to where i need it and on actual drives i have the volume low just for me to hear but my bass is all the way up which the big speaker certainly accommodates. Everything past 50hz is turned to the bottom:)

see reply on the other one with your same concern, it's not to be an asshole it's to have good deep bass at personal listening volume on commutes and also have potential to bring music to a spot where it is wanted ie outdoor party

South Park is gold lol. it's not to be annoying it's just for extremely good bass at my own personal lower volume but so I'm able to bring loud music to a place where people want it like an outdoor party

yes you see it all the time in Louisiana and Florida but I'm currently in the Northwest so I'm not doing it too crazy loud;) just has amazing Bass at any volume due to the size of the box and it will get thundering loud if I have a situation where it is appropriate to do so

right, Houston's not for you. wasn't for me either lol. it is for some people though, and if places like it started embracing EVs, I'm all for it. if everyone in a neighborhood is cool with loud music though I don't see how that's hurting anyone. cultural relativism and whatever

nd enormous boombox on the back that turns heads for blocks!
Yeah, assholes that don't give a frock what anybody else wants, or what other people might feel, tend to do that. :(

Which is even worse, because that's the crap no one can escape from, it shakes walls, houses, people, animals, etc., stressing everyone around you out.

Context: I have to live with the results of dozens of assholes that think it's "appropriate" to do this in the area I live in. Not just the ones in traffic, which is bad enough, with bass so loud it makes me naseous as it shakes my body and trike, and rattles other vehicles as well as the one it's from, but also at home at all hours as people drive by with this crap, up to blocks away from me, where it's so loud that it can be felt inside my house, despite filling the windows with thick foam blocks to minimize the window rattling, the wall still shake, the ground vibrates, etc. Assholes in the neighborhood park their cars and trucks with their earthquake bass systems running at what I hope is full blast (because if it's not, ghod help us all) for hours, and there is absolutely nothing I can do to get away from it or prevent it from shaking me even just laying in bed, preventing what little sleep I might've been able to get, or trying to destress and escape from the world.

It's like someone walking up and kicking the bed at every beat of their "music".

Do you really enjoy doing that to people around you?

You probably don't even know you're doing it, but if you're blasting your bass, then you are assaulting people around you like that.

I guess I'm blessed to live in a quiet town, though we do get Harley riders cruising through town with their sound system blaring away. Loud motorcycle, loud music! Do those wingnuts use earplugs?
