Integrated torque arm AKM-G2

I recently came across this AKM-G2 from EBIKEsolutions in Germany.

It’s a small and lightweight, 2kg, geared front hub motor with 9mm axle and an integrated torque arm, listed as 250W.

The full specs aren’t listed and I couldn’t find much more info on the web about this motor.

I’d like to run it, or a similar spec hub motor, on Grins simulator.

Going purely by the claimed weight of 2kg would I be correct in guessing that it would be similar to the Bafang G311? or other similar weight geared hub motors ?

This is a translation of EBS description of the AKM-G2

“The AKM-G2 front wheel motor, like all our AKM front-wheel motors, is characterized by its low weight of 2.0 kg, low noise and compact size. Despite its small size, the AKM-G hub motor can boast a high tensile strength. The high tensile force is due to the two-stage transmission and the low noise level to the oblique toothing of the first stage. The built-in NTC sensor is also particularly advantageous, which, together with our controllers, controls the temperature of the engine at any time and prevents overheating. Furthermore, the AKM-G has an integrated freewheel. This makes the ride particularly smooth, so that you can drive without resistance even with the system switched off.”

Interesting that they have abandoned the troublesome flatted axle concept. If the If the tolerances and fit of the TA teeth and splines are tight enough, it should be a good approach.
 
There are no dimensions for motor diameter in your drawing, but comparing that to the 150mm rotor, I estimate it's a 100mm diameter, close enough to the AKM100. Grin's motor database has the Cute Q100 which is probably similar.

I have four builds with the 208 rpm and 310 rpm Q100H on 20" rims. With 12:1 internal gearing, it has plenty pf pulling power, Some users have put the 208 rpm version into 29" rims for faster riding,

Thank you, I’d also guessed it was probably around 100mm from the rotor dimensions and also noticed that it’s a 12mm axle in the diagram while the G2 has 9mm axles.

I’ll check out the Q100 on Grins simulator @ 20” too 👍🏻
