I have a 2008 Mountain Trailz that just stopped working [see solution in post below] after changing a flat rear tire. The bike is mostly stock with four upgrades.
1) 29.4 volt lithium battery (https://ebay.us/Av1vFE)
2) Retro 24 volt led headlight
3) 11t gear on the motor (thanks to this forum and DrkAngel)
4) Quick disconnect on the motor (thanks to this forum)
I have run the bike for hundreds of miles with these upgrades and I always pedal. The Trailz will go about 20 on its own and 23 with my normal assistance. I ride about 8 miles per day 5 days per week (40-50 miles per week) and I weight 200.

Right before changing the tire the bike ran 100% fine. Right after the throttle lights come on then off in quick succession Full / Half / Empty (error code?). I get no power at the motor. I can hear a click from the controller (a relay sounding click) then I turn the battery on. I opened the controller and I can feel the click from the relay. I tested the battery and I tried disconnecting the motor.

Can someone please advise me on what should I try? OR what I should buy to replace the controller?
I will attach pics of the 35a controller that I have.

If I have to buy a replacement controller is there a benefit in a 36 volt one?
I can also do light soldering.

Thank you for any help.
I will try to upload pics but I think only one pic will upload so here is a link.

What was the exact procedure you used to change the tire? Think about EVERY step. Almost certainly something has been disturbed or changed by some step in the procedure, and correcting that would fix the system. Following thru each step to examine what is related to it will help point you to the things potentially changed/disturbed by each step, if any.

Doing that would mean replacinb both of these items:
1) 29.4 volt lithium battery (https://ebay.us/Av1vFE)
2) Retro 24 volt led headlight
and probably changing your motor gearing, to maintain the same speed at the higher voltage (so you don't end up with problems from the higher wattage on the motor)

Thank you for the advise amberwolf. I decided to remove the quick disconnect and see if it was faulty.
It was. So in summery the error code lights on a IZIP Mountauim Trailz AI throttle for no motor found is as stated in the post above.

I wanted to use an XT60 Connector so I went to Home Depot and that sold me their version (Ideal Power Plug) rated for 600 volts. After further research it it only rated for 6 amps. Also, overall Ideal Power Plugs are crap.

I will order an actual XT60 Connector today.

Thank you Endless Sphere forum.
