Buy a Satiator charger, from Grin, it will do it all! But you can find battery tenders for under $10. I don't know where a BRANDED Battery Tender Jr. can be found for $15 maybe dssguy1 can point that out? But, "old" tech SLA batts are here for the foreseeable future.dssguy1 said:cwah said:i don't really want to buy an extra charger just for charging lead acid.. it's old technology and won't be used outside.....
So if I set voltage to 14V that should be fine?
I use a Battery Tender Jr, they cost ~$15 and have 6-8 different programs they automatically use to keep a lead acid battery properly charged.

The welds are pretty solid but most of my welds were relatively easy to pull off. A quick jerk with a pair of pliers. It is possible to distort the cell negative side casing. So far the cell bodies have not been ruined, at least not visually.Offroader said:Quick question, if I weld a pack with this welder and then decide I need to pull the tabs/welds off to make another battery configuration. How difficult is it to remove what I have welded to start over?
I basically need to know if I can change my battery configuration easily or should I expect this to be a permanent weld?
Thanks.

That looks handy. Bet I could make one out of a piece of wood.
