Last years Trike Build lasted the summer and into the cold months. Being a sissy to the cold I parked the bike for the car over the winter. Looking @ the Red Rocket (Schwinn Meridian) It's a little worse for wear. Broken Front Spokes with a rim full of black brake dust from them cantilever brakes. Bent rear rims with broken spokes. Chafed Wires running to the front hub motor. And lets forget the thing ever had a laim band break on the jackshaft that never worked well in the 1st place.
Things I want to do this year.
Replace the front hub by installing a hub in place of the jackshaft.
Convert to lighter batteries
install better spokes and rims.
Any suggestions on a good hub with gears on one side and disk brakes to mount a TomiCOG on the other to drive the rear axle?
