LightningRods mid drive kit

I always buy the tool. Even if I only use it once and it ends up costing more than having it done for me, I like knowing how to do things myself.

Bikes and motorcycles are so pleasant to work on compared to cars. If I go to hell it will either be like working underneath a car with crud falling in my eyes for all eternity or trying to reach a fastener I can't see up underneath a dashboard full of razor sharp metal.

Back to the controller- You can program Lyen's hot-rodded Infineon controllers with a USB connection and a laptop or a Cycle Analyst v 2 or 3. The great thing about the CA3 is that you can have pre-programmed power settings that you can access with the touch of a button. You can set one for low power and low top speed, the second for more power but still limited speed, and the third for full gonzo off road riding. In addition to staying within the law, the low power settings give you great battery range for commuting.

Busy day today. Shipped a lot of product, painted a lot of brackets, cast pulleys, getting ready for a massive pile of packages going out tomorrow. I want to clean up all of the old orders that have been sitting around for too long. You're going to start hearing some noise from the first people getting their kits. SpinningMagnets should be going off any day now. :D

that's was my initial intent but in the end I ended up with buying them..

i for one am happy that i have w-i freewheel remover, it's not something i can get at the LBS, as they don't hold non-standard items, i STILL have to use an LBS or a workshop to get the damn removed (like now) because i need leverage the size of a truck to unscrew it, but without a tool that would be worse.
aaaarg, frustrated now...

woah! you can do that with a CA V2? I need a how-to for that!
some kind of. v2 has no presets. you just can set a power/amps limit but that works far from perfect compared to v3. that's why i swapped all my v2 for v3 versions. they are so much more power/featurefull.

and they also sell the torque sensors http://www.ebikes.ca/shop/ebike-parts/torque-sensors.html

I have a CA-LRC V2 with current throttle....it works great. http://endless-sphere.com/forums/viewtopic.php?f=28&t=29846#p431135.
No temp/e-brake/pas/torque sensor imputs no pass thru throttle, no presets, only speed or current based control and speed settings but has the reliability and ease of the V2 with the current limiting option and throttle to RC-ESC of the V3, in fact, I think that it has been a version in which Justin has tested some basics of the V3's develops before to switch to the new hardware...in the last update there wasn't space for even few digits in the code, i think.... new hardware provided enough space for all the new V3 features...and hopefully even more!

Wishes and skyungjae both have all the upgrades, so they essentially have an LR kit, performance-wise. Here is a mystery box that got delivered yesterday...something's odd about it, the box has a fragrance a little bit like a pile of puppies on a fresh spring day after a rain, with just a hint of "Christmas morning".

i loved i how underscored please :p

Be aware: the specifics of the kit that you might order may be different than the component set I have right now...

I have nothing new to report, I am only posting these pics to show that this is a real product that is really shipping right now...

I am fortunate to be working at a water plant, but we work 12-hr shifts and 7 days a week. After I got married, my wife expected me to spend time with her, so...I took the box to work so I could fondle it and take pictures...

magnets can you do me a favor and try to ride it with long trousers folded down, when the leg is resting the left pedal at various position around the clock? i don't exactly how it's positioned in relative to the leg, if the belt rotates CCW then i'm a little worried about the entry point between the belt and the chain guard.

sounds like he would only be able to test them in a few weeks :(

I'm going to push a bunch of parts out this week and then take a day or so to get my own bike together. I have all of the extra parts that I can't sell to customers for one reason or another. So I'm just going to do it. This "The cobbler's children have no shoes" nonsense has gone on long enough. I will of course take photos of the whole process and then video of myself gleefully riding around.

try to have your minions do the video, it doesn't sound too healthy filming yourself while riding 30 mph on a 3000 watts machine. it would be cool if you provide the stats like how many amps per km you can get so i'll know how my 48 v on 22 ah can do for range.

i thought you already have at least one you rescued from IT labor...
