Is it possible to put a motor on a suit like this so you can go uphill?

And I though street luge was crazy fun.

Gravity racing is fun on any kind of vehicle. Back when roads were less crowded, we used to skip school and do Emory Pass. 10 miles of downhill. Most of the hairpin curves marked 15 mph, we'd take em at 40. 3 bikes 4 guys and a truck for a ride back up. We used a no pedaling rule, so it was strictly gravity. That meant you touch the brakes you lose. It really taught me to corner since the outside curves were hanging over a 1000 foot drop. Sooooo fun. Try it now and you'd come around a corner to find a motor home filling both lanes. Ruh roh.

That is some crazy shit right there....reminds me of these guys:

Talk about hugging the road!

Amazing!! I was wondering if that was real after seeing "Yes Man" with Jim Carey. Not sure how you would attach a motor, maybe a jet pack to your back so you can take off and land for short bursts. Combined with the flying suit, you might have something. 8)

It has rollerblade like wheels doesn't it? If so you could use a motor set up like on the roth motherboard. No good for rain but who wants to ride on wet roads like that.

Prime candidate for the Darwin awards there.

LoLed when he passed the motorcyclist...

The wing suits are cool too, i recently watched a doco 'The Human Bird' fella flew 5meters off the ground down the Mattahorn in Switzerland...his next venture is too be the first to land without a parachute using a flying suit...

That road suit video looks like it's CGI, not real, though I'm sure it's real enough (simply because of the edits).

Maybe it's the processing the video went thru to get posted on YT, but it just doesn't look right, most especially the part where the guy is starting out as he goes from standing to crouching then rolling--it just doesn't have the motions I would expect, as if there is not enough granularity and jerkiness (humanness) to the motion.

Theres a dozen or so more too, the suit will be for sale apparently...I think you
should start collecting old skateboards and roller baldes Amberwolf and make one of these
suits to compliment your garage of e-bikes, pair of old overalls with a few roller balde
wheels duct taped on and a BIG MOFO HILL and your in business buddy

He needs a jet pack, not efficient but looks fun.

Not efficient? He is going down a mt. pass with traffic at 60 mph!! If anything you want less efficiency!!

As a longboarder who has bombed some fairly steep hills with traffic this looks like more fun than skydiving. When you are skydiving you have one predominate force: gravity (straight down). With this thing you get the feel of flying, the challenge of jamming a Lotus through the turns, and the danger of ebiking. Cmon, you guys don't crossover into oncoming lanes!! I have to think he had a spotter talking to him in his helmet wether lanes were clear.

Which set of wheels would you put the motor on? It would be cool to have it on your feet, then maybe stand up and skate if you want.
